Nice work Gaz, there's life in the old Escort and she sound's a good one, all you need now is to fit a new fan speed switch and a stereo for a bit of 1980's U2 , Simple Minds may be The Alarm. my era I was an 80's teenager in my 50's now. Good job Gaz ..... Mrs Black Hands told me you can't start a hoover !!!! Proved her wrong LOL!! Good diagnosis on the Glo plugs though. Dead short, yes there is continuity, but as you did, take them out, and the Ohms meter tells a different story

Mint mate 👌 mine is far from like new lol but I love it it's not slow I can get along at 70 mph no problem 😊 but cud be faster
