hello i have a 2014 RRS sdv6 24v l494 wich i think its the same engine which u worked on my car send huge amount of bleu smoke when hard acceleration at higher rpm when the secondary turbo kicks in and when would smoke also while starting up so would u think the return pipe is the problem or did u had this problem before and thank u

hello what did the car do before replacing the old pipe did it smoke bleu when hard accelerating if this is the case did u fix the problem ?

i've done the sump plug thing

I have a new question : I have some difficulties to remove the lever from the clutch fork groove (it seems being "glued"), would you have a tip ? How did you do ? Was it easy in your case ?

Hi Gaz, good live stream, hope you get the crank seal sorted soon, fitting 13 inch wheels will steer better as the Escort doesn't have power steering, narrow the tire the better and you will get more grip in the snow. 155 R 13 or 165 R 13 tyres are your best bet or you could use a slightly wider 175/70 R 13, 13 inch tyres are cheaper. hope you get sorted,take care

Thank Gaz another great video, it looks like someone spent a lot of time and money and did not know what they were doing. I hope you can find another engine OK, do you think that was the original crang? or was it one from a non-turbo.

Hi Gaz, I was going to say Eco Boom, by the look of that lump more like Eco Bang !!!, Honestly , I'm gutted for Cody and your self doing the repair, looking for a new engine now. It's shame that Ford didn't use a timing chain instead of wet belt , like Roy said rubber and oil don't mix and Ford should have know better. These 1.0 litre engines have ether 99 or 120 bhp fitted to Focus , Mondeo, little petrol Transit Connect as well finding an Eco engine should be easy to get from the scrap yard there is a good scrap yard in Ruabon cross the road from Travis Perkins.
