Preferrably into the next year after the new hardback Bestiary and Rulebook + standees comes out in January 2024 I believe. Would be great to have besides group play👍
You directly inspired me to Solo Roleplay with your original Savage Worlds series, and its probably taken over as my second favorite hobby directly behind playing tabletops with others.
@@vast3394 You might want to take a look a the Mythic GM Emulator, which can be used with most normal ttrpgs to play solo or co-op without a GM. Alternately, rpgs designed for solo play will get you started a little simpler, but they'll be a little different (games like Ironsworn.)
Question to you all: how much do you write down, if you write down your adventures at all? And when do you write them? I myself find it better when I don't write anything down until much later, when I feel like I can't continue unless I have to write something down.
Yeah. Would love to use the map collection in the video but I do get good use of Loke battlemaps aswell. Can also use the one... Dungeon Alchemist from steam to use in vtt like Foundry or RollD20, even print out the maps you make. But for marker use, gotta yave some protective cover/ sleeves to wipe off if not using 3d objects etc
Yeah those ones are great. Don't want to self-promote here, but if it helps, this map book is wipe clean, comes with VTT ready versions, and also two encounter decks. 😊

What a great day. Got a bunch of coding done for work, going to a friends house tonight to learn the board game Eclipse and a new solo adventure from Me Myself & Die. Really need to get Dragonbane out myself. Trying to finish a Savage Worlds/Mythic 2E adventure at the moment.
What a fun one solo play! I would LOVE to see more of Thurdum the Lucky! I really like the boons and banes essentially acting as Advantage and Disadvantage from D&D 5E. The combat system is fast and smooth. What a great system.

Wooo! Awesome 😁 Make a solo series! Dragonbane ( and Forbidden Lands ) Have very solid Solo+ Co-op options!. So for me as a Wolfkin, after mission 1 texed mission step and fancy random step 3+4 where I encountered friendly goblins, solved peacefully scared cultists, Im now at mission 2 with my fellow rescued orc Gorum. About to tackle a oracle rolled area that is a forgotten library+ mirrior, decrepit shrine, flourishing fungi + 4 x giant spiders 😂
That was such a fun adventure. I definitely want to see him venture back to finish the mission! Their solo rules look like they play fairly well and the oracle tables seem to generate a lot of specific relevant information on setting etc. The terrain book looks like it warrants my looking into.
I would definitely love to see another episode of what happens in Deepfall Breach. I've been playing a solo campaign for months that branched off of this Dragonbane adventure.

The nice thing with say, pre-ordering the Bestiary/ Rulebook ( with an introductionary adventure! ) is that you get a free pdf to download, check out and give feedback on things thats amiss, lacking explanation, kin/ beast/ monster stuff that dosent make sense, cleanups etc. They gave at Dragonbanes Free League forums noted recent feedbacks before October 15, check it out in the pinned threads 😊

Getting to watch this was super helpful. I was feeling a little unsure of the systems for the solo adventure, but this gave me a much better feel for it!
Loved the simple pop up visuals and occasional camera changes…kept the whole narrative entertaining and held my attention. That’s one of the best qualities that all TTRPGs have in common, isn’t it? A few simple props, a few changes of tempo and perspective …gives our willing imagination great adventures. Cheers!

Yeah I would like to see the entire Alone in Deepfall Breach module, the systems seem interesting and who knows maybe we'll get some character development.
We are playing the Secret of the Dragon Emperor, the DB campaign which comes in the box set. We are having lots of fun, the system is quick and deep enough to allow lots of player's choice. Happy to see you are giving the game a spin and I hope you will keep playing it :)
Would definitely enjoy watching more of Alone in Deepfall Breach since you're up for doing more of it. Looks like a very healthy mix of pre-written adventure and oracle-based solo roleplay which is bound to be a lot more... Sustainable, I suppose the word would be?... than Chaosium's approach to pre-written solo play of basically CYOA books powered by e.g. Call of Cthulhu (and also provide a bit more in the way of replayability to them) One thought that did cross my mind several times during this adventure was "Simon could never" - Mostly in response to just how well the dice treated Thurdrum.
Do another? Yes please! Do a whole season? With a boon roll... it is a dragon so an extreme YES! I'm so pleased to see a return to a fantasy setting. You lost me with the sci-fi stuff. It great to return to see the thematic settings I prefer. Thanks so much for what you do!
