As I said in other comments - if Native builds an E-Propel drive similar to the Old Town that fits into my Slayer slot, I'll buy it tomorrow! I was disappointed to find out that the NK-300 motor is 4.5" wide and my Native slot is 4.0"!!! I was ready to go with the 3 hp Newport, but I prefer to use the existing Native drive slot. I feel that the build around that slot is built for stresses of a pedal or other drive!
I'm happy other companies are going E motor. And making them more affordable.
for sure! like $1300 on this 3HP and maybe you already have a battery, it becomes more affordable than a new torqeedo
