guys if ur confused when to put sin on top or bottom, when you're looking for an angle sin is on top, when your looking for a side sin is on bottom of the fraction. Hope this helps

After watching this i realized that my school should fire our math teachers. Buy a faster speed of internet and new computers so we can learn from you.
Glad I could help you out! Good on you for taking it upon yourself to catch up and hitting youtube for what you needed. I wish all students showed that kind of initiative. You're going to be a superstar :)
Hey, I don't know if you'll ever see this but its literally 1 am the night before my test all the way in Pakistan lol and your video really helped me grasp the basic concept on this. Wish you did a cosine rule as well because you're really good at explaining. Anyways, have a good day!
Haha nope! Just really busy unfortunately. I made the bulk of these videos when I was working part time cos I was studying. These days I have a full time job and a lot of other commitments, so finding a spare 10 hours to make one video is tricky! I'll try and post some more down the line though. Glad you like them :)
no joke, one of the best math videos ive ever seen, makes things soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier, literally saved me 3 hours
So glad for this, forgot half this stuff after leaving school. I've been sent back to college from my employer and your chanel has helped me so much brush up on a lot of mathematics.
This whole process took my teacher 45 minutes to teach us... you compressed that into a 10 minute TH-cam video and I learnt more from you than my teacher.
As a primary school teacher relearning GCSE content to teach GCSE - this video was very clear and very useful! Wish there was one on the cosine rule too!
@Lorenz Panes Yeah sorry about that! It's cos I went and got a full time grown up job and ran out of time. Still hoping to find some time to make more of these one day soon, but it never seems to work out that way.
Hi my name is JC and I'm from the philippines and this has helped me with my periodical test tomorrow on march 9 I'd like to say that you taught me better than what my teacher did I learned everything I needed in this video alone thank you so much ^_^
It blows me away to see how crappy my school system is when it took me over a week to barely understand this, and I watch this 10 minute video and I'm now a master ;)
I don't know if you're gonna see this comment but I have a question about angles. You explained at 1:45 that the relation between an angle and the opposite side is so because if the angle were to change, then the side would change. My question is, wouldn't everything change? Not just the "related" side. So is there another reason why the angle is related to it's opposite?
Excellent video! I went from having no idea how to do this to knowing it very well. You taught me in 10 min what my teacher could not in 2 days. Thank you so much!
I know this is just the 600th comment but thank you! The accent also helps me because it's so calming and I can't wait to walk into class tomorrow to retake and ace a quiz that I absolutely failed today
on the first equation that ends around 4:49, i keep getting the answer -6.26.... i dont have the fraction button so i am dividing, anyone know how to fix this?
In case anyone else is having this problem: It looks like your calculator is set to Radians (does it say RAD at the top of the screen?). Since this equation is using degrees you need to make sure your calculator is set to degrees (DEG). Good luck!
I feel like teachers nowadays give us too much unnecessary information without explaining them. Halfway through and I'm understanding this way better. Good vid.
I know this is from a wile ago but thank you the method you use for sin is much easier than the one my teacher explained wish me luck on my test Tomorrow
All though you give a good explanation in the beginning, you don't explain how you get x=5.76 very well. I believe if you breakdown that piece of the puzzle, then some of it will become clear.
Thank you so much, I love you... Before, I got a friggin score of like 10 out of 50 in a quiz.. This video made me understand what on jupiter is going on... You can explain way much better than my teacher.
Amazing video, only comment I want to make is that the angle I calculated around 8:50 in the first part was an odd choice given the visual representation. I thought I did something wrong when I worked it out before you, visually it does not look like a 94 deg angle, rather it looks less than 90 deg.
Thanks. I literally have never worked with sin before and its gonna be on the test im taking tomorrow. 8 hours away actually, I should get to sleep soon. Thank you for your help stranger on the internet!
0:05 "The Law of Sines can only be used for non-right angles triangles" This is not true. It's almost always easier to use pythagorean theorem and trig functions to solve right triangles, but the Law of Sines still works...
I'm learning this just for fun now ... the teachers I had in school were smart (I guess) but clueless as to how to explain these concepts to another person. Thanks
It's such a shame that I ended up with a C in trig. One of my problems in that class was that I did not really understand my professor due to her accent and the way she would over-complicate explanations of certain concepts. I was also kind of intimidated to ask questions during class because I felt like others didn't have the same problem. Fortunately, I'm in precalc and so far I've aced my exams and quizzes by doing my own research outside of class and my textbook. Thank you for this easy and sensible explanation!
my teacher was away and couldn't give this lesson and , he kept moving on with other chapters when he came back and I was so lost until I saw this video thank you so much , it was so helpful!~
