- Some of the footage from the upcoming documentary movie about New Zealand History and Maori culture I was filming for the Russian television in the summer. Currently, the movie is in the post-production and will be shown on the Russian's TV at the end of this year and New Zealand's early next year.
After watching this I would love to visit NZ. The people seem so down to Earth and the songs are just amazing, they take you centuries back and shoot you through the stars
My son and family moved to New Zealand 10 years ago and I have been lucky enough to visit 5 times. A great place for children to grow up. You wouldn't be disappointed.
New Zealand gets under your skin.

Wild horses inhabit the central North Island. The herd is managed by the Department of Conservation with input from the Kaimanawa Wild Horse Advisory Group.

Don't see why not, I think as long as you respect the haka and what it is. Because NZ is a culturally diverse population and also the fact that Māori waiata (song) and Haka are taught throughout our schools, makes it safe to say yes.
Within families most men will perform the Haka at special events, weddings, funerals, anniversaries. If you know how to then you are welcome to.
You need someone with MANA to show you how, women don’t participate in every haka, but they can do haka of their own in a group, if you find your heart ❤️ you can be shown haka, you will understand it better, haka is about fierceness

That's all very well and said, but I think they are non maori and are enquiring if they can take part in our traditional chant, dance, haka obviously with a group that have taught them how to haka with all the customs, traditions, culture protocol explained to them so that they understand what haka is all about, I see this a lot through out comment threads and blogs, non (native) maori asking if they can participate people all over the world are fascinated with haka, tena koe e hoa
