I ordered a Q60A from the Samsung website and it arrived yesterday. I'm enjoying it so much! I'm a big fan of minimalism, so I especially like it's slim design.Picture color and contrast is also amazing.
The TU8000 looks way more color accurate, the 60A looks so bright that it blows the colors out too much, that scene from Batman is the best example, the black on his suit 9:34, the blue light in the background, it all looks like the Director meant for us to see that scene that way. Then again at 9:44 the 60A almost has a green tint to it, the horse is clearly black, but almost looks grey on the 60A. The TU8000 looks not only crisp, but perfectly colored, and just enough light that you can see the picture you're trying to see.
Just bought the tu8000. If I wanted it brighter and adjusted my settings to increase it would that make a better picture quality like the q60a. Good vid btw

I love everything about the QLED TV, but when watching the videos side by side, I felt like the contrast made the UHD picture look a lot better or is it just me that thinks that?
It wasn't until I paused on the bike at 9:25 that I decided I'd rather go with uhd. qled is just not sharp enough to justify buying it for the the color/brightness increase imo. I buy 4k to get crisp picture.
So, I went from the TU7000 (really wanted the TU8000, but i was po''), but got the Q60A 55". I'm a HUGE gamer, but for $300+ bucks more for the Q70A didn't seem worth it AT THIS POINT. This was at Best Buy and they were prolly 65". If I personally cannot tell a difference, I'm not going to spend $300 more, when I'm in the market for like $500-$600 instead of $900. I had a question, which tv would you say is better, The LG 75” Nanocell 80 series or the LG 75” UP8070 series? They’re the same price however the 8070 is newer and has smaller bezels and is thinner in depth. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
I have this same TU8000 tv and in game mode it does indeed have 25 ms lag as shown in the video BUT! If you turn off “game motion plus” it goes down to 9.5 ms. Just thought I point that out.
Hi Steve, i noticed that Q60A has worst contrast but better viewing angles. It makes me wonder if Q60A uses IPS panel. However, in this video the contrast doesn't look as bad as IPS panel and there is no noticeable backlight bleed like many IPS panel. Is it a new type of panel? Or maybe it's a VA panel with wide viewing angle filter?
Just picked up the TU8000, was wondering if you had a picture calibration preset similar to the one you did for the 7000 series? (if I remember correctly) great video 👍🏽
Is the Q60a really worth the extra money?

They are all on sale right now before 2022 models come out. Also, should I wait for another month or so until 2022 models come out for bigger sales on these 2021 models? Thank you!
QLED everytime
@@TechSteve thank you for the response! You are the best! What about my last question? Should I wait until 2022 models come out for bigger sale on 2021 models or get it now?
If you want to wait until Aug or longer.
Hi Steve. Please tell me what is the distance between the two stands at Samsung Q60A 43'? (cm or inch)
27” apart on the 43” model Q60A
@@TechSteve for the 43 ”model Q60A are the two stands mobile? (can the height be adjusted?)
I noticed your answering everyone’s questions but no opinion on the Sony x800H when compared to the 60A
Sorry, You’re asking about a TV that haven’t filmed. The x800h
Theri is now brand new AU9000 series in Samsung lineup. Maybe they remove, mix and separate more than a few features in their 3 new entry level AU 7-8-9000 models.
Thanks I saw that,
Compared with new Crystal UHD AU9070 what's the best?
Thank you for the great video.
Please create a video comparison of Sony X80J & Samsung Q60A. Also, which of these 2 TVs would be your primary choice for media consumption?
I don’t have the Sony
@@TechSteve Thank you for your time and respond :)
nice video comparison! btw are those tv both 50 or 55 inches? thank you
I just bought AU9072 it will be delivered next week , do you think it's a good model ?! Any reviews!?
very nice comparison!
I was due to receive my 50" Q60A last Friday, but it was delayed (I suspect by the Suez Canal issue). I'm now due to take delivery either Monday or Tuesday of this week, and I can't wait! Thanks for the great videos Steve. Any chance of a video for the best calibration settings to apply to get the most out of the picture quality? Cheers
I’ll make one in the near future
I'm struggling between a samsung QN75Q6 75" QLED and a sony X80CJ 75" under. Same price, same size, slightly different features. Just wondering if the Qled is worth more than the sony's higher refresh rate.
Ótimo comparação, parabéns
Hi, May I ask your opinion on the Samsung TU 9010?
Samsung decided not to release in the United States 🤔
Hi again, This is the model #SAMSUNG 86-inch Class Crystal UHD TU9010 Series - 4K UHD LED Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (UN86TU9010FXZA, 2021 Model) Walmart, Amazon, and Samsung have is listed of $1699.00. Is it worth it? Thanks for the fast reply.
I actually think the black looks a lot better on the 8000. Batman, the horse and saddle. The picture on the right looked better to me.
Hey steve! Just a quick question man would the Samsung Q60a TV be a good Long term tv in terms of both console gaming/PC gaming?
It ok nothing special, I would pay more for the 70 or 80 series
I had a question, which tv would you say is better, The LG 75” Nanocell 80 series or the LG 75” UP8070 series? They’re the same price however the 8070 is newer and has smaller bezels and is thinner in depth. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry, I haven’t seen either one just the TVs I film
Hi! What would you buy out of the au9000 and q60a please?
Au9000 not available
@@TechSteve What you mean its not available sorry? I just ordered one from Samsung UK website.
They don’t sell them in the United States
@@TechSteve Oh ok, thanks for the replies. I just ordered it as Trusted Reviews gave it five stars.
Which one is good for ps4 pro
Does the q60a have motion xcelerator turbo?
I have this same TU8000 tv and in game mode it does indeed have 25 ms lag as shown in the video BUT! If you turn off “game motion plus” it goes down to 9.5 ms. Just thought I point that out.
Yes, I posted it on the community page at the time of the video
Hi steve! Which one is better for dark room (bedroom)?
OLED imo.
the input lags of tu8000 are different then the ones you did on the au vs tu video
Another great video
Hi Steve, i noticed that Q60A has worst contrast but better viewing angles. It makes me wonder if Q60A uses IPS panel. However, in this video the contrast doesn't look as bad as IPS panel and there is no noticeable backlight bleed like many IPS panel. Is it a new type of panel? Or maybe it's a VA panel with wide viewing angle filter?
The contrast isn’t as bad on better footage but that batman scene 😬
Just picked up the TU8000, was wondering if you had a picture calibration preset similar to the one you did for the 7000 series? (if I remember correctly) great video 👍🏽
Try it out, they are easy to reset back to factory
60a can activate vrr and 120fps in 1080p?
I have a question, is there a way to get the tu7000 smart hub to be like the q60a with the smart hub being smooth with animations?
The Q60a has a better processor
Ok thank you
