You've no idea how happy this makes me feel.
No exaggeration, the original has changed so much of my life. I was depressed and held down by it, couldnt find a job and just gained so much weight. I first learned about Blue Stahli from nightcore videos(lol) Listened to everything Blue Stahli and was really digging it. My focus shifted a little and that might've honestly saved my life(you can see that as an exaggeration and that's ok, but I mean it)
Somewhere I got myself to get out and workout, and I remember listening to the original every time. I lost over 80 pounds, found motivation in more aspects of my life, and found ways to channel myself better. There were plenty of bumps on the road but the difference was that I started to actively fight back against my depression.
Years have gone by, and I am at a better place now. Life has calmed down a lot and I often look back at the journey. Listening to songs I used to listen to when I went through it all makes me proud of my journey. Having THIS version though is not only a good representation of how that rocky life has now calmed down, but also gives a feeling of completion each time I look back.
For me, this version is "never forgetting where you came from"
