I have been discussing the purchase of a custom steering wheel from the vendor, Modified Carshow, for my '20 RS3, but wanted to hear some reviews and testimonials first. From your review the custom wheel you purchased and installed seems to have proper fit and finish, good quality, and looks great. Anything else you'd like to add before I make the decision to buy? @@chuckfraley9511 honestly the experience was great. The only thing they could improve is more consistent check-ins while the steering wheel was in production, but everytime I reached out they responded within a couple hours. Considering our timezones are 12 hours apart, I found that really impressive. Honestly for the price, you can't beat it and I would do it again with ZERO hesitation.
just swapped out my one, i didnt break the clip but one of the cables became loose from the clip hopefully not a problem, plugged everything back in shifters work fine the horn works fine and the control buttons. i just have a check engine light that didnt clear even after a drive but will get it plugged into the machine and hope that its nothing serious. what do you think anything helps?
Glad it worked out. I ended up buying this kit to replace any connectors that break or come loose. on the stock wheel (on the bottom portion) there’s the black wire. were you able to swap that over to the new wheel or did your new wheel come with that pre installed? thank you

Wow!! That thing is GORGEOUS!!! Definitely helps the interior accentuate that Carbon Fiber, already there. She's coming along just fine. 👍

Thanks so much. Yep contacted them on Facebook messenger and worked out great. They also have an IG now. No complaints.

I believe I moved everything over.
is the diameter the same as the old one? I've heard a lot of the aftermarket Chinese carbon ones are slightly smaller.
@@stevenjaquin8218 no the size is the same from what I can tell. Very substantial and great feel when driving.
