Ranking The Last 10 NFL Seasons! (NFL Tier List)

- Now that the 2022-23 NFL season is officially wrapped up with Patrick Mahomes winning the super bowl, I thought it was a perfect time to do yet another NFL tier list ranking every season from 2013 to now. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video at all then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.
Now that Tom Grossi and Barry McCockiner are starting in the super bowl against Tom Brady, I have begun to speculate about the validity of NFL news. Is Jalen Hurts scheming with MMG to find more NFL highlights? All of these questions about the 2023 NFL draft and more will be answered by the combination of Aaron Rodgers and urinatingtree

2021 is S in my opinion. It was a insane and interesting season for me
So true
The 2019 season is very underrated
Bro I thought that was gonna be A tier 😭
He didn't even mention Jameis 30 for 30 as a bucs fan it drove me crazy but if I was not a fan watching someone throw that many tds and int would've been entertaining
That was the first season i started watching football
2019 was the first season I actually sat down and watched all 17 weeks unlike when i was younger I just watched my Vikings and 2019 was my first time I watched the playoffs and my Vikings made it I was happy till um Wild Card 😢2023 Vikings be like:Hey I fell like we did something similar in the Wild Card from a couple years back The whole Vikings team:IDK Adam Thielen:😳
@Elijah-kd7mf 2023 vikings were frauds.
Colts crash
61 yard vs injured giants
Injured jets could've won if they just kicked 2 field goals.
Bills fumble
2019 season was pretty good. The 49ers gave us plenty of cardiac games like against the Saint, the season closer against Seattle. It was also Lamar MVP season super fun to watch. Mahomes pulled 2 big time playoffs comebacks.
Even though my Bengals lost in 2021, just to make it to the Superbowl, when we all thought it was pretty much a growing (throw away) season made it real special for me. Not to mention 2017 I was gone for the military for the entirety of it only to come back and watch what I think is the greatest superbowl of my life will always stick out.
Your window is still wide open and Burrow is the real thing. As long as it doesn't happen against my Eagles I hope you get that chip soon
Yeah I thought Cincinnati would never get to a SB in my lifetime 😂😂 but y’all have a great team and a franchise QB … my Commanders nowhere near yall😅😅
You have a shot man. I’m a chiefs fan so our teams are basically bitter rivals rn but I’ve always wanted the teams that never won to win, feels good when we do. Bills and bengals will get theirs

I'll always remember 2021 as the season that had two game of the years every week. To me it's S
That was such a fun week man.
I’m surprised Justin Tucker making the longest field goal in NFL history wasn’t mentioned, or Dak failing to go out of bounds in the WC game.
Or even this year with Sam Hubbard’s fumble return vs Baltimore
@@BS-uj3ny the whole divisional round that year
I would put the 2019 season in A or S Tier. It was the 100th NFL Anniversary season, we had an all-time season from Lamar Jackson, and the playoffs were filled with insane comebacks from the Chiefs. Maybe, if you were a Chiefs fan, it would definitely up there!
I’m a Chiefs fan and I can say we either were dominating everybody because that 2019 roster was insanely great or we’d lose in frustrating fashion. Definitely A tier tho. And the Super Bowl was unwatchable until the 4th. 2021 was by far my favorite season of the Patrick Mahomes era and the Chiefs probably should’ve won the Super Bowl and we would’ve easily won it, the entire media doubted the Chiefs and the. Chiefs proved everyone wrong
24:16 glad you brought up the legendary lamar jackson poop game, that was one of the best I have ever watched
Jordan has the flu game, Jackson has the poop game. It’s the crap legends are made of.
Dude that happened on my birthday😭
That 21-22 season was outright monstrous. That amount of overtime thrillers and don’t get me started with playoffs. Unfortunately it did end up having a disappointing SB thanks to ref ball. But was a really memorable one
I started watching NFL in 2017 but my favorite season so far is the 2021 season. That year it was so wild and seemed like every game would go down to the wire. Also the 2019 season was one of my favorites mainly because I’m a niner fan
Agree 100% was surprised it wasn’t ranked higher
You have a six-season sample size. It shouldn’t surprise you that one of the SIX seasons YOU liked isn’t ranked higher among a sample of six DECADES of post-merger NFL football.
Your like the best nfl youtuber your underrated
This is just an opinion but honestly i think that tom grossi is the best nfl youtube, but i agree that this man is underrated
Disagree, have you not seen this guy?

Like the best nfl youtuber. High praise.
I know the guy above me said this but

2019 season was underrated
Love your work man. Content that’s informative and makes me laugh is the best!
I feel like 2022 was awful. Some teams didn't know how to offense and the Eagles basically walked over the NFC, but we did have some legendary moments like the butt punt, the Jakobi Myers lateral, and (this one isn't really legendary, but I had to mention it) really fun snow game between the Bills/Dolphins among what you mentioned with the Vikings.
honestly 2022 was one of the worst szns in a while.
Yeah he had to put it high because he loves seeing the Chiefs win
@@luis_zz8852 He really had the audacity to put 2022 over 2021
Same here 2022 season stunk. Only a couple games might be remembered (Vikings-Bills, Chiefs-Bills, and Vikings-Colts but Saturday was coaching). You had some very weird moments such as the ending of the Raiders-Patriots game and some dark moments like what happened to Damar Hamlin. The playoffs were boring garbage and the Super Bowl had the potential to be an all time great game but no the refs had to get involved at the end of the game to prevent Hurts from coming back. Overall I think it was one of the worst season since the 2002 season.
Some of the only fun things were the meyers lateral, butt punt, Vikings Vs bills, Vikings 33 point comeback, The Super Bowl, Jags 27 point comeback and that’s about it
Great video tubfrog. For your next tier list, could you possibly rank every team's worst moment based on how painful it was (ex. 28-3, the butler interception, 18-1)
Found the pats fan😂
I already have a most painful moment from every teams video, but I think I’m going to do more tier list videos in the future instead of the every team format
The 21-22 season definitely deserves S, at least more than 22-23
One of the most underrated TH-camrs I know keep up the good work man I love your videos 🔥
Great Vid Tubfrog keep up the good work man!😎
I love your content dawg. So good. Plus, us Raider fans have to stick and wallow together✊🏼❤️
This is awesome content! I'd love to see even more seasons ranked
About the 2022 season, you should probably have said that the Seahawks stole a playoff spot from the Lions, considering the Lions went on to beat Green Bay in the last game and would have made it in if the Rams had won
Great video man thank you
You deserve more subscribers great content
Another fire drop from tubfrog
Actually I would say the 2011 season was where passing statistics went through the roof.
I will never forget that Packers Cardinals 2015 game. I was so happy that you mentioned it bc it has always held a special place in my mind. Rodgers just had me in absolute shock, and then Larry Fitz just flipped the game right back.
Thanks for mentioning the blown pass interference call in the Detroit Dallas playoff game I bring that up every time someone complains about Dez having caught it
2021 is S in my opinion. It was a insane and interesting season for me
As a long suffering Seahawks fan I can't begin to explain how cathartic that absolute beatdown of the Bronco's was. After being robbed by the refs in Super Bowl XL we were due.
Agree
Greatest season ever, most fun I've ever had watching football. Being there for the Super Bowl parade in Seattle was icing on the cake, never seen anything else like it...a million people flooded the streets, blue and green as far as the eye could see. S+++++ Tier Season
Wow … BIG undertaking TubFrog! Love it! Good energy…
Even after two super bowls, the chiefs are still traumatized by the 2013 playoff exit. Look at how Reid played against indy last season
Yeah Indy, despite their issues since Luck retiring, still seems to give the Chiefs some problems. They beat the Chiefs both years they won the super bowl in 2019 and 2022.
A 30 minute tubfrog video? This is peak Saturday right here
Great video
2021 should be at least A tier cmon
2015 was definitely my favorite season. I grew up pretty much only watching the colts and the saints as they are my favorite teams, but 2015 was the first year I watched the entire season heavily beginning to end and watching different teams play
How was super bowl 44 for ya?
@@3andahalf684 I was happy with it, I'm a saints fan first but I live in Indianapolis so I woulda been pretty happy with either outcome
Bro really put 2022 over 2021
I don’t understand how you only have 33k subs. Ur the only football TH-camr I can stand tbh
As an Eagles fan I'm still coping over the super bowl and I agree with your take. Like yeah, it's holding. It wasn't a wrong call. It fit the description of holding; the rules are the rules. Can't be mad about that. But the zebras always let a whole lot of more egregious stuff slide, you know? I'm not sure how to feel.
Personally I believe that the birds' pitiful defense and special teams in the second half built the coffin, and the Bradberry hold hammered in the nail. If you have no answers to your opponent's offense; one ticky-tacky call is not the thing that brings you down. You just gotta play better.
Anyway I love your content, man. Keep up the good work
2013 is one of my favorite seasons of all time
Truly an underrated season imo. Jacksonville should’ve gone 0-16. Their first 8 games they were on pace for the worst team in NFL history. Also a lot of disappointments, such as the redskins, Atlanta, Houston,
The Texans were way worse than the Jaguars that year and were much closer to being 0-16. Their only 2 wins were in overtime in the beginning of the season. They lost 14 straight games on top of Matt Schaub breaking the record for most consecutive games with a pick 6. While the Jags had a horrible start at 0-8, they at least salvaged their season and finished at 4-12 while beating the Texans twice. They also beat the Titans which means they went 3-3 in their division. Far from going 0-16.
Subbed 👍
The taped poster is low key a storyline going on in the background… the tape is slowly growing larger and eventually will take over the entire room like an infection 😂
You called it, it was only the beginning of an EPIC story arc.
7 seconds in its already a banger
I have a lot of nostalgia for the 2015 season because that was the first year that I truly watched football
I don’t understand the logic of putting 2013 in b tier after all of the praise you have it. Great regular season and playoffs. Just the Super Bowl was underwhelming
I don't know if you were actually paying attention to football that year but saying "that Bills v Chiefs game carried the entire playoffs" for the 2021 season is insane lol. Best season in a while.
good video bruh
the slowly expanding tape is a good bit
These just so happen to be all of the NFL seasons I’ve watched, I started in 2013 and watched until now
Do one for each super bowl winner over the last decade. 2013 Seahawks s tier. MVP winners as well.
if you think the 2020 season was a “snoozer”, you’re insane. gotta factor in that we were in damn quarantine but somehow still able to watch NFL, quite the blessing + there was wacky shit every damn week it was fun
also, Lamar & Cam MVP seasons are atleast an A tier. too iconic
I love how now the tape on the Tom Brady photo is even getting onto the other wall now. Eventually, the wall is just gonna be completely blue with tape
this dude rlly said the bills-cheifs game carried 2021, 2021 is an underated year look at all the good games that happened that year. 2021 should be a A tier.
Exactly, and the playoffs were all solid. Much better than this forgettable 2022 season
First NFL season i watched was 2015 and 2021 has been my favorite so far
Mine's too as well as 2018 minus of course the worst Super Bowl of all time Patriots Rams.
I give 2014 and 17 a tier the nfc in 2014 was insane bro the 10-6 eagles missed the playoffs we saw a great game in Dallas vs Green Bay In a very controversial game the nfc title was amazing and in the afc the continued rise of Andrew luck questions about manning Brady doing Brady things and capped off by the best super bowl of the last 10 years without question and 17 was just special all around great playoffs nick foles winning a title for philly seeing the rams on the rise 17 really set up the state of the league today
I remember, I was so pissed because the tiebreaker’s technically the Cowboys were like the fourth seed, even though they beat the Seahawks at Seattle and had the same record
@@dsbeats5657 facts bro that shit still makes me made we crushed them but because it was a 3 way tie and they had better conference record we had to play the wild card shit still makes me mad
I like how everyone says the tartt drop decided the game when there was almost an entire quarter left, also that season had some of the best playoff games of the decade easily A or S tier
i know those beds from anywhere,my boy in the army lol
That was pretty cool😃
19:23 Being a Bears fan I will never forget this moment.
The eagles run in 2017 with Wentz getting hurt to Foles beating Brady.... That was just unreal backstory all season.
My favorite season as a chiefs fan was this past year with 2019 as a close second but 2018 was so fun to watch Mahomes breakout and put us on the map as a true contender for the first time in my life.
at 9:41, another wild thing about that packers-cardinals game is that the original coin toss didn't flip. I just remember so vividly that it felt like the entire atmosphere was wacky. How do you even get a coin to not flip at all??
Fantastic unforgettable game, I just wish the Pack won...
2021 is an easy S
Bro idk how you don’t get more attention. Some of the highest quality content on the platform
Got a feeling TubFrog just found his niche for videos
2014 and 2021 are S-Tier imo. 2014 season was great, the ascending of Andrew Luck, seeing wether Denver or New England would come out on top, Rodgers MVP season, the three way race for the NFC top seed, and then the Playoffs, which might be the best Playoffs ever.
As for 2021, it had the intersection of Brady/Rodgers in their last elite seasons as well as the ascent of Allen/Herbert/Burrow for the future. There were so many overtime games that game down to the wire and Week 18 had everyone glued to their screen for 12 hours. The Colts somehow choking to Jacksonville and the Raiders/Chargers Game that nearly ended in a tie which would’ve sent both teams to the Playoffs, and the 49ers/Rams game where the 49ers were down 17-0, down 14 at the half and 7 with a minute left, in a de facto Playoff game and won it OT. And then the Playoffs were phenomenal throughout the divisional and championship rounds.
You’re a Raiders fan. I’m subscribing
2019 is wayyy too low. Especially as a 49ers fan almost every game that year gave me a heart attack and I loved it. Until the Super Bowl where bosa got choked out
2:10 Chiefs Kingdom has had quite the ride since this game. I almost had a heart attack during this game. Starting in the 3rd quarter I was like, JUST RUN DOWN THE CLOCK....THEN 3 AND OUT, INDY TD, 3 AND OUT, INDN TD. Then the Luck fumble TD.....but I would do it all again as long as we draft Magic Mahomes!
I know I’m being a homer as a Packers fan but how did you not mention the run the table saga in 2016! Yea it ended in disappointment with the blowout loss in the NFCCG to the Falcons but holy fuck that run after Rodgers said we were going to run the table is the most fun I’ve ever had as a Packer fan and IMO is the cap on Rodgers legacy as one of the greatest. When he said “I think we can run the table” I 1000% believed him and knew we were going to be fine. And we were! There’s a pic/meme from the 2016 playoff game between the Cowboys and Packers showing a bunch of Cowboy fans cheering and a lone packer fan smiling with the caption “lol they think they’re safe with 1:11 left” (or something along those lines) and that picture just sums up how it felt to be a packer fan in the 2010s: if there was time on the clock, Rodgers can make it happen.
i remember loving the 2017 season but no way id put it in S just because i remember so many injuries that year.
As a Raiders fan too I also wasn't happy
Omg 2015 playoffs were insane haha. I remember it the best over the last 10 years
Dude didn't even mention the Packers running the table in 2016
No, the Texans did not fumble the 1st overall pick, the Panthers did
Also we have the exact same opinion on super bowl 57 wtf
Best: 2021
Worst: 2020 (was going to say 2014, but the playoffs was perhaps the best of the past 10 years)
bro said “u read the title, let’s not waste anymore time” then proceeded to say the title
You see how crazy a rod was
You should rank the 1990s super bowls and the 2000s super bowls as well those were probably some of the best years in the NFL
This Saturday I’m boutta drop a video going over every Super Bowl so I guess you’ll sort of get your wish
@@tubfrog Thanks that's going to be a fun one to watch
@@PNW30568if you a fan of an AFC team then Superbowl wasn't much on your side (NFC dominant for like 12 years straight til the broncos in 1997-98 ended the drought)
No mention of the 2015 Saints Giants game?
Nah 2019 is definitely S tier so many good teams in both conferences and playoffs we’re Good Lot of upsets and Super Bowl was decent and nice to see two different teams and see another team win the Super Bowl besides the Patriots
I will never forget the 2017 season lol shit was bonkers
The ain’ts also threw a game losing pick after the no pi call, so it was a shit call but it did not actually cost them the game, the int did
4:17 Hey Flacco was actually pretty good in 2014 dont diss the man like that
2014 was my favorite season, high school, my Patriots winning the super bowl. It was cool
Ain’t no way bro thought 2021 was worse then 2022 but respect the opinion
I thank you for not bringing up what happened to the Bears in 2018 😂😂😂😂 That alone has earned you my meaningless sub 😂
one of my favorite games happened in 2015 panthers giants the odell josh norman game
2015 was crazy, especially the playoffs
2022 saw the first-ever overlap between a World Cup and an NFL season. I *still* feel pissed off at FIFA for holding that tournament in freakin’ Qatar, of all places.
No mention of hurts in last season is criminal
The 2022 season the Seahawks didn’t really steal a playoff spot from the Packs. Everything was lining up over the past couple weeks as Washington lost, all they had to do was beat the Lions at home… aaand they failed… but it might have been for the best, as if they would’ve made it in, they would have faced the Niners…
Yeah the pats falcons super bowl sucking for nearly 3 quarters is kind of what makes the rest of the game insane.
2020 was my favorite season weirdly enough
In 2018, the RAMS won 54-51 over the Chiefs but you got mahomes stats right. Best game I ever saw
The hype behind the game of two 9-1 teams too
That ones on me my bad
“The packers top receivers were ______ and _______.” Proceeds to show first clip of game of Randall Cobb making and incredible catch
That was early in the game. Cobb got injured shortly after that.
How is the 2021 season not S. Every prime time game that year felt close plus the playoffs.
The 2014 and 2016 seasons were the best.
I still feel weird that in high school, I got to sack Jared Abbrederis like yeah he didn't end up great in the NFL but still I got a sack on an NFL player lol.
damn rodgers really carried the entertainment for the playoffs in early 2010s
2018’s regular season was pretty great, but the playoffs left a pretty sour taste in your mouth if you weren’t a Patriots fan
2020 season you have underrated a little. That was the year where teams were averaging about 25 points per game which is the most by a lot out of all the seasons.
2020 gets some massive props for Tank Division being fun to follow
The problem was that for some reason in 2020 there was no defense. Like the ravens averaged 29 PPG and weren’t even top 5 in offense.
2020 was a very interesting Season as a panthers fan
@andrew laviano yeah it’s weird bc the chiefs were number one this year with 29.9
@@nickpayne7267 in 2020 the ravens averaged 29.3 PPG, the chiefs this year averaged 29.2, which means that in 2020 the #7 best offense was better than #1 offense in 2022.
