- We have a lot to talk about today, after a busy few days. We had a bbq, saw an epic thunderstorm, witness the cygnets hatching, had a dog on the bow, saw a snake, saved a loose boat and dad falls in the canal along with our shopping. Hi. It's a grass snake. They have a lot of yellow round the neck. There's another variety that's green. Adders are very shorter and very shy. Quite a few near to my location in Lincolnshire. The venom is not dangerous to healthy adults. Regards Dave.
Yes Andy Informed us later that it is a grass snake. It was just lovely to see it just laying there. The last one we saw just slithered across the path in front of us.

Thanks Kath you always say lovely things and I am a bit ashamed as I did laugh at Andy when this happened and all I was worried about was the shopping spending £70 and we might have lost it. I told Andy to swim and get the shopping until luckily the hire boat came by with 2 lovely people that helped us out. See you soon hopefully xx

If it wasn't for the hire boat going past I think we would of lost most of the shopping. Lovely people and we gave them a holiday to remember.

Definitely everything seemed to happen in one day. Its always like that with us if one thing goes wrong it normally ends up with more things during the day.

@@michaeldavies9533 it's nice to show people that it's not all plain sailing so to speak but we seem to deal with any problems and just get on with it. We are all healthy that's all that matters at the end of the day.
When helping the boat needed the song Liza Jane in the background playing. Poor Andy I guess it’s a club most join at some point. That was a large snake to me. Our garden snakes a bright green. You are braver than me to get that close to it. If space wasn’t such an issue it would be nice to have a weed eater on board for the tow path for each move. Your drone shots are so beautiful. England has the most beautiful country side in the world to me.loved flying into the country from South Hampton up to London looking down at it. Susan
This is twice Andy as fallen in Susan so he is a real boater. Josh and I aren't boaters yet but watch this space I am sure we will fall in at one point.

That was funny when Andy and the shopping went in the canal. What flavour was the ice cream. It probably wasn't funny at the time, but you guys will laugh about in years to come. I hide when thunder storms come, don't like them. That was kind of you to remoor the boat that came unpinned.
The ice cream was clotted cream corniche and lucky we saved it otherwise Andy would have been devastated he loves ice cream 🍦

Devonshire Cream and Scones. I take it that the diet starts tomorrow and as for Andy and his tumble into the canal l bet he was more concerned about getting his Vape wet than he was about the shopping 😎😎😎
That bloody vape machine will be the death of me. How many machines he has been through and the liquid and coils are so expensive. I suppose its better than him smoking. He gave that up after having a heart attack 12 years ago at 38 he is still going strong with medication thank goodness 😳 👏
It might work out okay with a fuel as the government is meant to be doing something shortly 👍👍
Let's hope they start bringing the fuel down as the country will come to a stand still. The food shopping has gone up as well.

Entertaining as usual. Of course the most important thing apart from the canal triathlon - what flavour was the ice cream?
Andy would have cried if we didn't save the ice cream. It was clotted cream cornish ice cream. Andy loves all ice cream his favourite is rum and raisin.
