    Remember that song, The king is coming? There is a part which said, All the rail road cars are empty as they rattle down the track, In the news room no one watches as machines type pointless facts; All the planes veer off their courses no one sits at the control
    For the king of all the ages comes to claim eternal souls.
    This is a warning sign hope we all take heed.

    So he went there to meet girlfriend, she's not there. Call her and don't get her. Calls mom to call her but he ends up getting shot.... that doesn't sound right to me. And I hate how the news just cut it off and switched stories. If you were going to do that, why include the segment.
    This is not even reporting news is just entertainment.

    What canada has to do with it.
    If you do a survey all of the hotel have thier lightl and water restored.
    They care about tourist than their native people.

    • @Clairemont7893
      @Clairemont7893 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tourism brings in billions of $$$ other wise its the world Bank. And your taxes will go up to pay nurses and and many other government departments employees local government teachers
      You need to know a bit more about how the country is run. The government doesn't print money .

    • @jackiemrowell4667
      @jackiemrowell4667 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @owenferguson7893
      That is one way to look at it.
      But there are other resources in Jamaica that generate money in Jamaica.
      We all know that the government doesn't print money .
      The hotels are not owned and managed by the native Jamaicans. Therefore, the majority of the money that they made are smuggled out of the country.
      The tourism sector is using the average Jamaican as modern-day slaves.
      Over working them. Giving them no contract and firing them if they speak up for their right .
      This is no second-hand information it's a fact.

      @jackiemrowell4667
      There's pension insurance for hotels workers
      And minimum wage
      Those big hotels are building houses for hotel workers
      Those big hotels companies
      We were enticed to come to Jamaica
      They have a choice
      They are creating thousands of jobs Those workers spend the money Al over Jamaica pay tax
      Tax from the company to the government. Thousands of farmers and small companies bennifit directly and indirectly
      It's about %40 of the Gdp to the nation budget. Without those jobs, those workers would be looking for farm work in Northern America. That's the way investment works allover the world profit goes back to head office. At least they have a job
      Government can't provide jobs for everyone. It's not a communist society
      Or borrow money to create jobs
      They tried it. The country went bankrupt. There are hundreds of small Jamaican hotels and Anb
      And few bigger ones that are Jamaican. But they don't have the billon to invest
      The workers have a choice sit at home, play Domino's, and music
      Some people have nothing
      Beggers can't be choosers.
      So many countries where people are earning in a month where those Jamaican hotels workers earn a week even before the rise in minimum wage
      Look what happening in many countries they of to depends on the world Bank. If it wasn't for all those big hotels and call centre the government would be running to imf bauxite is not as big like before. So what other income are you referring to .
      other industries are not big enough yet .we need a dozen
      Companies like grace Kennedy
      And others to be independent

      There are other resources that earn money.
      Very lacking in knowledge about
      How the country earn its way.
      Workers working like slave
      As I said it's better than nothing
      If they go a forieng they would likely working two jobs to survive just to pay bills
