I do NOT understand why some people feel compelled to give negative comments, like you should do exactly what they want. They don't need to watch your channel. You're giving us inspiration and ideas. Then we do what we want. I think this is an amazing idea. You always come up with something new and different. Then I see other Crafters on TH-cam doing your ideas. Thank you for sharing your ideas.😊

The amount of subscribers you have is simply a testament to how much people like your work and YOU personally. You are incredibly easy to follow because you break everything down to its simplest form which helps even the newest crafter feel confident that they too can recreate your magic. Unfortunately some people are so caught up in their own entitlement that they tend to forget others are entitled too, which is why I love the phrase “You do YOU” in the crafting world. There are so many different varieties of styles on You tube and that’s why I love subscribing to many channels to glean something from different ones. As people mature perhaps they will realize this too. Of course if you go to the haters channel that has left you negatively opinionated comments, you’ll find that they have produced absolutely zero content. I’ve been learning from crafting channels on TH-cam since 2016 and I got to the point that I don’t even bother looking at the haters channel anymore because it was the same thing every time. Not ONE of them had ever uploaded a video of them even attempting to do what you (or anyone else) do. So I wouldn’t be bothered by their opinion of your work. Please continue to do YOU in YOUR style as YOU see fit. That’s why I have my notification Bell set for your channel, because I personally happen to love your style & feel there is always enough variety in it that I still find it interesting and can learn from you. When I want to look at brightly colored projects, I tend to search for whatever it is in the search bar and choose videos from there.
Even though I relate most of your works with a more vintage vibe/style to them, it doesn’t make the overall work itself any less unique. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if dragonflies is your preference over butterflies, then you plug that in in your own work instead of using a butterfly; Or ladybugs, or a beetle, or a spider or even a roach! You do YOU! 🤷🏻‍♀️😎

Like wise. To distress means : to give simulated marks of age and wear. I've never seen paper edges turning blue or pink as it ages. I can validate different shades from black to copper (even some type of dark green) but that's it. Now, I might edge my paper in another bright color (my choice) but I'm not labelling it distressing. I'm appalled by the audacity of some comments.

(the specific thing that sparked in my brain was when you were talking about the brown inking of edges and suddenly I realised that while brown/black is probably the one that is most natural to how paper ages ... I think I might explore with blues, greens and turquoises too, because that's how copper ages)

I love tunnel books! When I made them I made them a little different, they were only open in the middle, on both sides there were accordion folded paper and sceneries were glued on every second accordion fold, so when it was flat you could see the mishmash of the sceneries, but when you drew out the accordion folds the sceneries made a bigger scenery, like on the theatre stage. You could glue a door at the front so it would be like a mystery opening the doors and folding out the accordion folds at the sides! With different lightings it would be like a theatre stage scenery, and since it is an idea from victorian times I think they used it as theatre mementos too. You could also change sceneries out and make up your own stories with it.

And I could see a tunnel book showing going deeper under water, with creatures seen at darker depths. Or. Maybe a forest, wandering into a forest, or UP in the forest, ground level and climb up to the canopy like a rainforest or even a treehouse!!
Maybe a drive to a vacation spot, like from Kansas to the beach showing terrain change . Or from a big city out to a rural countryside. Even a trip into outer space 🚀. You could even have a trip into the human body or into a beehive. That little window really draws you in and you want to turn the page

To all those who like to criticize TH-cam Creators. Their video are just ideas and suggestions. They are not telling you to do exactly like they do. If you don't like what they to change it to what you like. You do you and they will do them. Absolutely love your ideas. I have never seen tunnel books before. Definitely going to try them.

Really enjoyed this video - I *did* think tunnel books looked like a lot of work, before watching this. It makes all the difference to actually see one being made. I think the irregular one with the birds is my favourite. With the too narrow hinge margin, I was thinking one could just cut out the tiny bit that covers the hole, which would not compromise the strength of the hinge - might even look quite nice. And, as always, lots of inspiration and alternative suggestions, and laughs along the way - brilliant!

Natasha you’ve done it again! Another awesome idea! Don’t worry yourself with the negativity of others. It’s only a reflection of themselves. Some people aren’t happy unless they’re unhappy. You keep doing you. It’s obvious you are loved by many. 😊 Have a wonderful week. 😊

So LOVE your creative videos. How anyone could criticize you in any way is astonishing to me. I've never once in all your videos, thought of ever questioning anything you make, to me you are so perfect.💕 I'm with you, I love butterflies💘 And I ink everything, in brown, and occasionally black! Hate the colors! And believe me I've tried them ugh!!!! I still to this day, think of your story you told so long ago❤ You are brave and strong, to leave your home with nothing, as such a young child, is so heart breaking to me💖 I will ALWAYS think of you as a beautiful soul💗

Natasha, I'm glad that you do YOU! I live your creativity. You bring us ideas then we can create it the way that suits our individual liking. I personally only use brown or black ink. I love how it looks. I don't understand why some people complain. You do a great job and you keep it real! Continue the great job you're doing Natasha, so many of us love you 😘!

Echoing similar sentiments concerning your generosity! I’m happy to watch all of the ads-all the way through to the end-to support you; I turn down the volume and read the comments as I trust your followers’ creativity and good smarts. You’re not only innovative, you’re organized and share your instructions and allow for additional options. This is one of the very best tunnel book videos I’ve seen in years. Thank you so much for your unrivaled CLASS, elegance and moxie. ❤️

Of fun!!! The tunnel books are beautiful and so interesting to look at. My favorite is the one with round shapes. Cannot wait to make some and since there is no time like the present, I will begin today! Brush aside the naysayers and create as you always do...from your heart. Love me the butterflies also...
Cracking up over the insects on the instruction page :)

I love these! Such great inspiration. I have some paper pads I'd like to use up and these are brilliant! I agree, dark color for inking the page edges looks better. I've tried using other color, not a fan. I also have bugs and rarely use them because they don't make me happy like butterflies and birds do. You do you ,Natasha, and thank you.

My feeling is if you can't say something nice to someone don't say anything at all. Keep up the wonderful work and thank you for sharing.

I do not like bugs (insects) except a few such as butterflies for their beautiful colors and shapes. I myself have noticed the rising use of bugs in paper packs as well as others art. OK for them, but not for me at all. I hate anything with pincers or things sticking out of the heads. But I don't mind if others are into this--whatever works for you is fine by me. Let's not fault our fellow artists out there. I think we are hardest on ourselves and leave it at that. We all struggle at times and maybe even use imagery we don't like because everyone else is. Sure I like to share things and I learn so much from others. I am grateful that Natasha is able and willing to share her work and ideas with us all. I receive so much inspiration from you, Natasha. And I don't mind a bit if you use brown to ink all the time. Frankly, I didn't even notice that fact. I also don't mind if anyone uses any color like I do sometimes. It's all fun. This is how we learn and make personal decisions about what each of us likes to do. Thank you for a really fun tute. I love the ideas and results. CUTE! XOXOJANE

Hear, hear! It may be shallow, it may be cliched, but when it comes to bugs, I really only like the pretty ones - butterflies, ladybirds, maybe a bumblebee - a dragonfly is about as far as I'm prepared to go. (I have seen lovely journals with more bug imagery, but, if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it, and it won't look as good.) It's so LOL funny, the things people decide to get upset about. I mean, it's not like the bugs are complaining. Human-headed fish - now, there's an under-represented species, if ever there was one!
