Thank you for sharing this wonderful project with us - it has so many possibilities- wow I think it’s awesome ..:::: & your teaching abilities is amazing- you always inspire me - thank you ❤
I love it....I love brown distress ink and butterflies too!! :)) I hate to see negative Nancys posting on channels. All of you artists are so great and step out on a limb to share your processes, something I have no courage to do. Bravo to you for sharing your beautiful work with everyone. Keep on keeping on....the majority of us love watching.
Like wise. To distress means : to give simulated marks of age and wear. I've never seen paper edges turning blue or pink as it ages. I can validate different shades from black to copper (even some type of dark green) but that's it. Now, I might edge my paper in another bright color (my choice) but I'm not labelling it distressing. I'm appalled by the audacity of some comments.
Super fun, and thank you for sharing your creativity. Loved your “cheeky” ending to the video…..Adding the bugs was hilarious! Keep up with your butterflies and keep doing you!
Please never apologize for using what you love in your projects! Even when you do things I wouldn't have necessarily done myself, I think that's the genius of your channel because it gives me ideas I never would have thought of! I love your book ❤
The amount of subscribers you have is simply a testament to how much people like your work and YOU personally. You are incredibly easy to follow because you break everything down to its simplest form which helps even the newest crafter feel confident that they too can recreate your magic. Unfortunately some people are so caught up in their own entitlement that they tend to forget others are entitled too, which is why I love the phrase “You do YOU” in the crafting world. There are so many different varieties of styles on You tube and that’s why I love subscribing to many channels to glean something from different ones. As people mature perhaps they will realize this too. Of course if you go to the haters channel that has left you negatively opinionated comments, you’ll find that they have produced absolutely zero content. I’ve been learning from crafting channels on TH-cam since 2016 and I got to the point that I don’t even bother looking at the haters channel anymore because it was the same thing every time. Not ONE of them had ever uploaded a video of them even attempting to do what you (or anyone else) do. So I wouldn’t be bothered by their opinion of your work. Please continue to do YOU in YOUR style as YOU see fit. That’s why I have my notification Bell set for your channel, because I personally happen to love your style & feel there is always enough variety in it that I still find it interesting and can learn from you. When I want to look at brightly colored projects, I tend to search for whatever it is in the search bar and choose videos from there. Even though I relate most of your works with a more vintage vibe/style to them, it doesn’t make the overall work itself any less unique. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if dragonflies is your preference over butterflies, then you plug that in in your own work instead of using a butterfly; Or ladybugs, or a beetle, or a spider or even a roach! You do YOU! 🤷🏻♀️😎

I always appreciate your videos and ideas because you do so much with basic supplies. It makes me feel like I can make beautiful things with the supplies I have. One thing I am discovering is my own style, I don't know why anyone would want you to change how you do things. You are wonderful as you are ❤
When comments about another’s efforts cross the line from ‘instructive critique’ to merely critical it is really exposing the unhappiness and self-loathing of the person delivering the insult. Pity them and don’t give them a response. Don’t let their negativity distract you from watching creativity unfold. I did love your cynical sarcasm at the end of the video.
I love tunnel books! When I made them I made them a little different, they were only open in the middle, on both sides there were accordion folded paper and sceneries were glued on every second accordion fold, so when it was flat you could see the mishmash of the sceneries, but when you drew out the accordion folds the sceneries made a bigger scenery, like on the theatre stage. You could glue a door at the front so it would be like a mystery opening the doors and folding out the accordion folds at the sides! With different lightings it would be like a theatre stage scenery, and since it is an idea from victorian times I think they used it as theatre mementos too. You could also change sceneries out and make up your own stories with it.
These are so pretty, they look complicated, but when you break it down it seems actually really simple. I got all kinds of ideas. I've been toying with aquatic themes a lot lately. And I could see a tunnel book showing going deeper under water, with creatures seen at darker depths. Or. Maybe a forest, wandering into a forest, or UP in the forest, ground level and climb up to the canopy like a rainforest or even a treehouse!! Maybe a drive to a vacation spot, like from Kansas to the beach showing terrain change . Or from a big city out to a rural countryside. Even a trip into outer space 🚀. You could even have a trip into the human body or into a beehive. That little window really draws you in and you want to turn the page
@@bundlewade lol, I'm blessed with inspiration from videos like this one, and I wish I could put my ides into the material world. I'd be surrounded by the colorful beautiful things that exist only in my brain. The children's book I started, the board game I want to make based on a backpacking trip to climb a mountain, the miniature dollhouse based on the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip complete with treehouse, another dollhouse with a secret laboratory past a revolving bookshelf, a quilt for each child made using their childhood clothing. I can't even sew.. The illustrations or animations of some of my dreams.... Sigh Wouldn't it be great if you could SHOW someone your dream?
Thank you for inspiring us! And having such clear instructions. I use brown or black because those are natural shadow colors! I wish I found more dragonflies, they're not as popular. So I draw my own & watercolor them.
Tunnel books seem so much easier than I thought they would be. Thank you. Please don’t let one person’s comment impact your delightful work. “You do you”. Love the sarcasm at today’s finale. Well done. 👏👏👏😎
Your tunnel books are so creative! This is a great project that I would never have tried without your video. Your explanations and demonstration were excellent. Your sense of humor with the helpful hints you received was also very entertaining. And, hey, for one, brief, shining moment the under represented insects of the world got some glory! And a man fish! You don’t get to see those too often, haha! I know it must get annoying to have people focus on such small details and not recognize all the work that goes into making your videos. But the rest of us appreciate it! Very much!!
You are an incredible talent! As well as a phenomenal, inspiring teacher! You're a generous, fun person to share with us and with such detail. You ALWAYS give alternatives "if we don't have what you're using". Usually multiple ideas. And since I've been watching you for years, you always say, "it's totally up to you". You spread joy, and I seriously don't understand any comment that's not complimentary. Thank you!!!!
Beautiful work, Natasha! My favourite part is the brown ink and butterfly 😝find it very difficult to understand why insects need representation in one's artwork. It's like telling a portritist that they're underrepresenting bodies.
Natasha, you use whatever you like, it’s your very own imagination that matters, your artistic licence allows you that. I’m with you regarding the inking, brown looks best! When paper ages it doesn’t turn blue or purple! Love your videos ♥️♥️♥️
I think it was Thumper who said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Your books are interesting, innovative, and sweet. I have really enjoyed this video. It has set my creative juices flowing --- which is one reason you do these videos.
You had me applauding at the end with representing other insects and oddities. Well played. 😂😂. This was another magical crafting session with you. Many thanks!
Brown edges add a richness and definition! Everyone can select their own choices. Love your videos! You are organized, clear, and show each step in detail. Best detail has to be the list to show each step. Many thanks for sharing your creativity. I always am inspired to try your projects!
You are AWESOME! I have learned SO MUCH from you! Thank you for EVERYTHING that you do! People who can’t or won’t do, usually criticize those who can! We LOVE you just the way you are!
Happy Easter Natasha! Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas! Trolls are everywhere it seems. Most of us respect your choices because they turn out beautifully. I believe most of us feel fortunate to be able to learn from you!
Another amazing creative idea for me to use! Natasha, I don't know if you realise how much we love and appreciate your channel with all these fabulous projects! I could be busy forever!
I saw the negative post, and it made me so mad! There is no reason to criticize, at all, but… If you are going to criticize somebody’s art, at least let us see YOURS!!!! It’s like people are locked in a room and have to watch! Lol. Just click away!! Natasa, you are a creative genius, and so very kind and giving you share all of this!! It is 100% because of you that I have started crafting! You made me believe I could do it! And that is a true gift that you have! Much❤❤❤❤❤
That's what I thought a first when I saw all your examples, wow how complex. But as usual you are so experienced at breaking down the process into manageable steps that it becomes quite do-able for anyone. As an art teacher of 32 years I give you an A+ 😊 Keep up the great work.
Oh goodness! Don't pay attention to those critical people! I can tell it bothers you, but I wouldn't even answer. As my mother used to say "To each his own!" Keep creating happily! You are a talented, lovely person and artist, and a wonderful teacher!
Ok, you really made me laugh at the end! These ideas are great. And frankly, while I don't necessarily love bugs for the most part, if that person wants to avoid butterflies in her project-go ahead! Don't complain about other people who do love using them! I really enjoy your creativity and doing things that you then share with us. Thank you!
Me too her “the under representation of other insects in my projects” made me laugh out loud. The nerve of people complaining when she has generously taken the time to show us how to do a craft that she obviously excels at and doesn’t need to share the process with us.
Thank you, this is such a cool concept! And I also want to say that I hope you don't stop doing what *you* like. It's nice to get other options placed out (I'm the kind of person that are very creative, but sometimes the "first step" eludes me), but you should do what makes you happy =) (the specific thing that sparked in my brain was when you were talking about the brown inking of edges and suddenly I realised that while brown/black is probably the one that is most natural to how paper ages ... I think I might explore with blues, greens and turquoises too, because that's how copper ages)
If u wernt doin the things u like then we wouldnt be watchingbu create the stunning things like this,i luv butterflies n i luv the brown inking so ill keep on watching as long as ur doin it,some people are just rude by telling u what u shud do,damn cheek i say,plz keep on doin ur own thing cos i along with all the others luv ur work n thats why we watch,if u dnt like it then dont watch no one is forcing u,thank u so much for showing us how to do these beautiful creations ❤❤❤❤
I love how creative you are and the ideas you come up with are some I would never dream up - I appreciate you and your free videos! I find it interesting that instead of just watching someone else, people feel compelled to complain. I love butterflies and brown edges too. ❤ Keep doing you!
Just wow. I have never seen this before. Awesome. Aussie here, too. You butterfly to your heart's content and brown those edges everywhere. Now my head hurts from all the ideas you have given me. ❤😂🎉.
Brown, being a neutral, goes with everything! Duh! Ima lovin your tunnel books!! And I sooo appreciate that you make so many examples to illustrate the variety one can achieve! I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next! No pressure… Till next time! 🦋🦋🐝🐞🦋🦋🦋
I love the fact that you are frugal in inking the edges with all rainbow color inks, but rich in ideas, projects and techniques. Because what matters is in the videos, the rest is up to the viewer on how to apply those. How boring would a world be if we all liked the same things, the same inks, the same styles.
🦋💖🦋💖🦋 Thank you for so generously sharing your time and talent to make these tutorials! I'm always inspired by your tips and techniques! I was actually wondering if you would please incorporate 🦋 MORE BUTTERFLIES 🦋 into your videos... that is, only if you want to since it's YOUR art!!! 🦋😘🦋😂🦋
You are SUCH a wonderful teacher! Your style is lovely. Don't pay any attention to the nay-sayers. We LOVE you and your work. Thank you from the bottom of my octogenarian heart. You have injected a whole lot of fun into my life. Again, Thank You!!!
I literally gasped when I saw all your books, they are incredible and utterly brilliant! Really must do one of these, so unusual! Thank you so much for yet another awesome idea ❤🏆
Love this video as well as all of ur videos. I love your creativity. You are making things your way, you are only giving examples of things that could be made. Not everything is everyone’s style. Those negative Nancy’s either need to come up with their own creativity or use yours as a guidance to their nasty loving insects. They probably enjoy housing bedbugs, cockroaches, flies, gnats and stink bugs! But to each their own. You made me giggle when you added the insects to be a wise butt. Please don’t forget you can always block those who have negative things to say about your amazing creativity. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!!
To all those who like to criticize TH-cam Creators. Their video are just ideas and suggestions. They are not telling you to do exactly like they do. If you don't like what they to change it to what you like. You do you and they will do them. Absolutely love your ideas. I have never seen tunnel books before. Definitely going to try them.
In the words of the great Tim Holtz-"you do you". I love butterflies too and have tons of dies and stamps of butterflies. I have a collection of infinity dies in different shapes and it will be easy to make tunnel books with them because they go from the largest one to the smallest one. Thanks for the great ideas!
I'm loving this project! I also agree with so many viewers, you give us license and encourage us to create in a way that pleases us; therefore, you too create what moves you. Keep up the great work and know that so many of us find your videos inspiring and oh so creative!
Natasha, you are a real artist !!!! Whenever I need an inspiration, I am looking for your channel and feel refreshed later on. Thank you so much my now "down-under-girl"! Many hugs from Berlin!
I’ve been paper crafting for 20 yrs and thought I saw it all. Never have seen this!!!! LOVE Your creativity is wonderful and your videos are some of my favorite. Thx soooo much!!
Every single video you mention you are showing how to complete a certain idea and you also say for us to make it our own from there. You using butterflies and brown is FINE. You use what you gravitate to and others can use what they want. Those comments to you are nonsense, and KEEP DOING YOU !! I learned so much from your tunnel book and can't wait to go make another one as i was making my first one while following your steps. 🧡🧡🧡
If you don’t like this lady’s ideas… don’t use them… you don’t have to copy her books.. It’s an idea that you may use to make yours the way you like. If you don’t have something nice to say… zip it! Bless your heart!
For Pete's sake. It's your creation. You do you. Butterflies, browns whatever whatever. You're putting something out into the world that is beautiful and inspiring. If one doesn't have an opinion which is constructive and helpful, than by all means say nothing. The world has enough b.s being expressed as it is.
you are truly an amazing artist! You know what i love about your videos? you just don't show the end result you actually show how it is done in details.Your always giving tips and I love that!
Echoing similar sentiments concerning your generosity! I’m happy to watch all of the ads-all the way through to the end-to support you; I turn down the volume and read the comments as I trust your followers’ creativity and good smarts. You’re not only innovative, you’re organized and share your instructions and allow for additional options. This is one of the very best tunnel book videos I’ve seen in years. You do beautiful work And I love it. Hugs.Xx Robin.
Natasha, I wish people will simply enjoy the tutorials you are sharing as they are beautiful. Why judge and criticize the taste of others. You are amazing. Thank you for all your inspiration
How awesome is this. I just think about including my drawings and creating unique books with my fairy tales and short stories, exclusive little treasures just for my own joy or as some gifts plus - as you suggested - theme books, little theatre plays and so on. Your creativity and well explained videos are just such a joy and inspiration. Thank you so much! You gave me the absolute joy of a bunch of new hobbies and crafts and how pleasant is that! By the way, never mind those kind of negative comments. Those people are unhappy, manipulative souls. Instead of seeing your generous videos as an enrichment and gift, and your creativity, art and awesome way to teach, they try to give you an itch of negativity. Never mind. Be sure, most people who follow you are inspired and greatful for your various contents.

Your so gifted, such a joy to watch, good for you to let them know that you love butterflies, brown! Not sure why they feel like they need to say things? If it bothers them, turn the station👍❤️ I personally think we’re blessed that your willing to share your talent with us!!! 👍❤️
For crying out loud. If that person wants other insects, then she can use them herself. You continue as is. I love everything you do.
You have the coolest ideas!!!
Sigh
Wouldn't it be great if you could SHOW someone your dream?
😂😂😂😂 the bug comment at the end cracked me up!!!! Good for you!!
Very much!!
Never apologize for your artwork. It is your work. They can use purple and roaches and moths. Thanks so much for this excellent tutorial.
Thank you!!!!
your brown Inked pages that are full of butterflies are FABULOUS!
Beautiful work, Natasha! My favourite part is the brown ink and butterfly 😝find it very difficult to understand why insects need representation in one's artwork. It's like telling a portritist that they're underrepresenting bodies.
Your Ideas are so helpful. Please don't stop giving them. The majority of your subscribers love them. ❤️
💙💚🖤 Such an amazing idea! People are sooooo rude!!! If they don't like your tutorials, then why are they watching?!?!😡🤬
Love your attitude towards ridiculous comments lol. You have made my day. Tunnel book on my list of art to do. Thanks for sharing.
The very first altered book I saw over 20 years ago (maybe longer) was a tunnel book done with a child's board book. Thanks for this!
Appreciate your ideas and creativity. Everyone can do their own thing. There is no such thing as wrong when it comes to creating a journal.
And the fish with the human head said it all! hee hee hee. Great job on the tunnel books and thanks for your awesome instructions.
Thanks for watching!
I’ve always wanted to make one of these. Way simpler than I thought and you did a wonderful job explaining the process!
"YES!" to the pettiness 😉. Keep on doing you, Natasha. You're brilliant. 🦋
Love the humor people are so up tight just have fun and smile and be kind.
Thank you, this is such a cool concept!
And I also want to say that I hope you don't stop doing what *you* like. It's nice to get other options placed out (I'm the kind of person that are very creative, but sometimes the "first step" eludes me), but you should do what makes you happy =)
(the specific thing that sparked in my brain was when you were talking about the brown inking of edges and suddenly I realised that while brown/black is probably the one that is most natural to how paper ages ...
Thank you!! These are so cute and so simple!! Love them and your attitude and your humor!!!
Please ignore the stinkers who feel they must be negative about your art. You are wonderful just as you are. Big hugs!
Thank you! You and the butterflies demystified the process. Love your projects and ready happy they aren't crawling with bugs😉😉
Life is short. Enjoy your butterflies! This is a lovely project. Thanks for sharing.
Natasha, you're such a creative person. This is a great idea. ❤
I enjoy watching these videos before going to sleep. Then I have nice things to think about and it is easier to fall asleep!
I literally gasped when I saw all your books, they are incredible and utterly brilliant! Really must do one of these, so unusual! Thank you so much for yet another awesome idea ❤🏆
I enjoy your butterflies and brown ink. Thank you for allowing us to join you on your creative journey.
Thank you so much!
Per usual , another amazing piece of art. I’d love to use this process to commemorate a special outing by embellishing with picture.
L0vE this idea! ❤🎉 I can't wait to try it out. ("Underrepresenting other insects" hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha! That cracks me up!) 😂😂
😂😂😂
To all those who like to criticize TH-cam Creators. Their video are just ideas and suggestions. They are not telling you to do exactly like they do. If you don't like what they to change it to what you like. You do you and they will do them. Absolutely love your ideas. I have never seen tunnel books before. Definitely going to try them.
As always,beautiful work!❤
😆 You do you boo! ☺♥ Your only concern needs to be what makes your creative heart happy! ♥
You do you. Life is much too short to try to please everyone, so only please yourself.
You’re my favorite crafter! Thank you for sharing your ideas! You are truly gifted. Ignore any negativity.
Thank you so much!
Wonderful! Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much 😀
Butterflies are wonderful. They should be everywhere, and when I try this they will be. Love this project. Thank you.
I have always thought tunnel books were to hard to tackle…NOW I want to make several! Thank you! God bless you abundantly in 2024! 🙏❤️🦊
Thank you so much for your unrivaled CLASS, elegance and moxie. ❤️
lol I love how you deal with people who insist on having things their way! I wish people would just enjoy watching FREE tutorials! Anyway, I love these tunnel books! I have never made one before. But I will give it a shot. Thank you so much for using butterflies. LOL I much prefer them to the insects at the end of the video. But seriously thank you so much for sharing your tutorial. You do beautiful work And I love it. Hugs.Xx Robin.
You do you!! We are blessed that you share your talent and ideas. You are joyful and so fun to watch. Thank you!!
Natasha, I wish people will simply enjoy the tutorials you are sharing as they are beautiful. Why judge and criticize the taste of others. You are amazing. Thank you for all your inspiration
I don’t know how many times you have to say “do what speaks to you” for people to get it. Love your videos and attitude about creating. Thank you!
Thank you so much 😊
People always have something negative to say! I’m glad you put them straight. You do you!! Love your reply to those negative comments!!
I love your sense of humour!😂 And your creativity of course!
Why do I watch 😊 because you do you.❤❤❤ If someone doesn't like it. They have the choice to do it their way. 💖🌟
What is life without the beauty of a butterfly or two or many 🦋🦋🦋
How awesome is this.
These are so perfect! They look so complicated and you have broken it down beautifully into something that can then be built upon. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
