Renegade getting the flag cap with a grapple shot vs spacestation gaming before the technical restart was the highlight of the world championships to me. It was such a sick play.
Absolutely killing it with these videos. I hope these player profiles continue and we can see more productions in this vein. The pro Halo scene has been missing high quality series like this for a long time.

Renegade literally was the reason faze was able to win from the losers bracket in a grand finals which was never ever been done before. The damage he puts out is insane.
Moving to Faze was the best possible choice Renegade could've made. The time he has now to learn from all 3 of the other Faze players, and Royal1, will be invaluable for years to come, as he continues his trajectory to become one of the best to play the game. I also think that, having Stellur and Renegade on the same team isn't the best, because they're both incredible slayers and need to almost stand alone as the sole cracked slayer of a team. Don't get me wrong, Bound on SSG, Frosty and Royal2 on Faze - and really any of the players on either roster - can go off, but I just feel like a slayer like Stellur and Renegade are most comfortable when they're the ones looked at to continuously output high-kill games

Each one of those teams were deserving and although I had hoped to see Optic take the win, Faze deserved to lift that trophy last night.

Yeah this is a Renegade unlocked video, but I think Royal 2 may be the best player in the game right now. Positioning, Composure, Skill and Consistency. IMO he’s a league ahead of everyone!
Royal 2 has always been underrated. Nobody more consistent.

I never understand why casters say "Optic was tugging on the back of his shirt". Online they were impressive, but on LAN, John always expected the Sentinels or Eunited to be in the grand finals against him. So no, they weren't "tugging on his shirt" lol. It was always the teammates he has now. From them literally being Splyce's only competition in Halo 5, right up to him losing to them at Kansas City. It was always them lol. Optic doesn't even seem to have been anywhere in the thought process, at least not until they actually beat him on his first FaZe roster, but as we all know, the plan for the current FaZe roster was always the plan, even before he lost to Optic. So that's not why they came together.
I feel like they're trying to create a storyline where there isn't one.
