The subjunctive mood is used to talk about doubts, wishes, hypotheticals, emotions, and things that are not certain or are subjective. It's for statements that describe how someone feels about reality or how they want reality to be.

1) Es importante que ellas digan la verdad.
2) Estoy alegre de que mi amigo gane la loteria.
3) Ojala que tu lo pases bien.
4) Espero que tengas un buen viaje.
5)Deseo que ellos aproben el examen.
6) Es necesario que limpies la mesa antes de comer.
