They did a collaboration with Franz Ferdinand, too, and a lot of people were confused by it but the live versions of Franz Ferdinand's songs morphed with Sparks' are amaaaaazing. I liked the FFS album. Have it on vinyl.
I recommend you check out an album by then entitled "Number 1 Song in Heaven" if you dig early electronic sounding music, it has that classic zany Sparks feel with early synth work, due to working with early electronic producer Georgio Moroder as well on multiple other albums of the late 70s. My fav track is "la dolce vita"
