I LOOOOVE that Shea made a really strong point about faux greenery!!!!! In a very sweet, joking way, she emphasized that actually it’s more practical. It’s great when someone like her says it because it makes you feel like there are other people with the same mindset lol!

Pouring heart into a home! ❤ It's perfect, Shea! Love every detail, in making it functional, brighter, breathing life into it, and more livable. Chocolate brown is an earthy color, and earthy colors work year round, green included! I'm big in favor of piping, Love your diamond jute rug, gorgeous, and furniture is beautiful! I couldn't agree more, with faux plants! 🙌 Not everyone has an abundance of natural light, anyway. Lovely view and surroundings of this home also! Very nice 🙌

I absolutely love this home it’s exquisite… it’s smaller in scale to the normal McGee aesthetic but I love the finished looks so much.

I design houses for fun (with drawing and computer programs) and this video really helped me with the living room layout for my architecture portfolio for school! It was kind of a small living space but I wanted to make it feel airy and open, and the way you have this living room arranged would suit the project amazing

It gives me a late 70s/early 80s mixed with farmhouse vibes. Maybe that's just me. I do like that one wall with the color and photo of the water on it to mix up the wood portions. I do love that stone portion showed. I don't know what I think about velvet. I don't think I am a fan, but I also have seen a lot of stains on velvet furniture over the years. It feels great though. I don't think tables where you eat at should have chairs that can get food stains on it. As always though, I love how you decorate and design things. I do like how the hutch is styled. It's pretty.

The coffee table or the console table behind the sofa. If you are sitting in the chairs then the coffee table.
OBSESSED WITH THE PIECED RUG!!!!!!!!!!! Does it shell all over the place? I have heard that is the bad thing about jute. Is it soft enough for bare feet?
It's very soft, especially for a jute rug. It will shed small fibers but it wouldn't leave dust or large debris. Hope that helps! ❤️

When was this filmed? You have spring already??? Spring comes here in May in AB, Canada. 😢 Having a cold spell right now with temperatures between -20 and - 40 Celsius (including wind chill). I could use some warmth.
