- To celebrate my channel reaching 1,000 and now 4,000 subscribers, as well as Christmas of 2020, I have decided to count down who I think are the top 10 most underrated Five Nights at Freddy's characters; characters who I think are overly hated or largely ignored.

withered freddy is the most used-for-advertising ive ever seen, he almost never gets any merch, i think he is very underated
I agree. He is used on the tags for Funko’s merchandise, even though he has actually never received any merchandise from them.

I honestly think scrap-trap is pretty underrated, although this *is* pretty biased due to how springtrap was my favorite but I really just think he's cool

Thanks. In my previous videos, I referred to Mangle with female pronouns, but I have now switched to using non-gender-specific pronouns for characters with debatable genders; specifically Mangle, Funtime Foxy, and Lolbit, with the latter two previously being referred to with male pronouns.
@@charliedixon4465 Wait but since we know that Ultimate Custom Night is canon, and Afton created the Funtime animatronics, doesn't that mean that Funtime Foxy's male voice in UCN is inherently canon?
@@AidebHerb It is possible, however, Funtime Foxy’s blueprints in Sister Location reveal that they have the ability to mimic any voice, indicating that their male UCN voice may be just one of many voices that they can use.

Charlie Dixon this was a great explanation!! i love scott’s openness towards gender-fluidity with his characters & seeing more and more people coining interchangeable pronouns (such as using ‘he, she, & they’ for the same character) or just gender non-conforming ones is great 😄
I feel what made scraptrap so hated was the fact they changed the design completely from what we know as spring bonnie and springtrap. Personally I would love if they just used springtraps original design but added some of scraptraps features, such as the showing skull, the missing arm, and maybe some extra withering

I think old man consquenses is underated
I actually considered him for the list, but I just found other characters to be more underrated.
Some others could have been phantom chica,electrobab,all the medicore melodies,8 bit baby,shadow freddy and shadow bonnie in my opinion they are a bit unnderated and helpy because he has had 3 apperances being fnaf 6,ucn and Help Wanted and hes very forgetable

I honestly had no clue that Nightmare of all animatronics was underrated. He is honestly one of my favourites and just never thought he was underrated.

I see Music Man and Mangle as seperate examples for this reason; Music Man was designed that way by choice while Mangle was originally a normal animatronic made scary by the kids. Mangle still has her cute face while Music Mans face is just unsettling as well. Although this is just my opinion.
P.S. I agree with Orville being underrated. I really like his personality as he seems like a giddy old man who loves to preform. Plus I love his design as an elephant since it’s super unique and as a result really makes him stand out.

He's the main antagonist of the first game... then he was replaced by Puppet, Springtrap, Nightmare, Baby, Lefty and the Scraps, Merger Fredbear, Glitchtrap, Grimm Foxy and Dreadbear.

Tbh, shadow freddy is my #1 favourite animatronic because of how little info he has on him and his scarce appearances. The ambiguity makes him creepier imo ^^

I fully agree with Yenndo. I think Yenndo, Bonnet and Lolbit were meant to be back ups in case Foxy & Freddy failed but they were scrapped after a certain incident. It pains me a little to see how Yenndo is so over looked.
I really need yenndo in fnaf ar he is one of my favorite animatronics of sister location and we still don't know what happend with lolbit,yenndo and Bonnet and i dunno why i believe in this but i think if he have a Voice actor It would be Alex brightman

Difference between Mangle and Music Man is that Mangle wasn’t used for performing, the kids just broke them apart. The Puppet is a better example. I could see children crying from just looking at him in person.
I agree, Plushbabies are underrated. Just find them adorable.
I’d remove Plushtrap and Nightmare from this list. Mostly Plushtrap.
My picks would be Bidybab, the phantoms, and every Chica (except Toy Chica maybe).
I agree with you that Nightmare is underrated mainly like you said he's too mysterious and cryptic. Some fans think the nightmares are real, others think they're projections from an illusion disc from memes. I'm not sure. Some people claimed that Nightmare's distorted ambulance death scream is the crying child going to the hospital after being bitten by Fredbear, and is put in a coma where he's being haunted by hallucinations or nightmares. Which these are all good theories even though it's complicating and confusing.
Imagine if ft Freddy’s mechanic is:
He throws bonbon on you and he is stuck on your screen, then you’ll see bonnet come at you because he put bonnet on his hand.

10 - For Yenndo I 100% agree! He should of been explored more, I even prefer him to Lolbit but that is just because Yenndo is unique but Lolbit is just Funtime Foxy with a new (uglier) coat of paint.
9 - Yes! I do like Shadow Bonnie more, but Shadow Freddy is also one of my favorite characters, being my absolute favorite at one point in time.
8 - I strongly dislike the PlushBabies, they seem so random of a choice, and their design is kinda bland.
7 - Music Man is one of my favorite FFPS characters. He's so creepy and definitely deserved being in UCN. He is also my favorite of the Posh Pizza characters. Also he has one of my favorite voices.
6 - Orville Elephant is just bland for me. Of the mediocre melodies he has the least personality. I get that he is supposed to be the smartest of the 5 but even Happy Frog, while annoying, is still better than Orville in my opinion.
5 - Plushtrap is literally my favorite FNaF 4 character. He is so cute, yet so terrifying. So small, yet so frightening. I really wish Plushtrap was put in a bigger spotlight than Nightmare BB (although NBB isnt bad) jut because he was the original. Also I wish he had a voice
4 - Clown Springtrap is kinda just, weird. I kinda like it, but it kinda just looks odd. He also reminds me of King Dedede. He is also my least favorite of Springtrap's skins
3 - Nightmare is underrated? I loved Nightmare! He is my 2nd favorite nightmare animatronic. Also that voice is perfecto!
2 - Bonnet is my favorite of the custom night characters. I dont know why I really enjoy her! She is really cute, and her voice is too. Shame she wasnt in the main UCN roster.
Honorable mentions - The jack-o's are pretty cool (Jack-o-Bonnie is 10x better!), Bidybabs are pretty cool, but i prefer Electrobab (yeah, i said it!), Toy Chica is my least favorite character in the entirety of FNaF, but highscore Toy Chica is better, being my least favorite favorite of the arcade skins, she is still great. 8-bit Baby was an odd choice, I kinda like her, but something about her is just, off, i guess.
1 - Jimmy Neutron is a great character, yes he is fun to make fun of, but come on! He is literally Springtrap 2.0! I do prefer Springtrap over him and Scraptrap isnt my favorite of the Scraps, he is still better than Lefty in my opinion.

I think a better example at 6:12 would have been the Puppet itself but then again, this entire series is about creepy robot mascots.

Scraptrap’s design is definitely inferior to Springtrap’s, however, Scraptrap is fear-inducing, creepy, and even more grotesque so he isn’t a horrible character overall. I think Scraptrap should have replaced Springtrap in night 5 (black light mode) of FNaF 3 in Help Wanted as it would have fit the fire design of that level more. Also, Illumix better either give Springtrap a skin of Scraptrap or do what they did with 8-bit baby and make him a new character.

Yes, his hate is EXTREMELY unnecessary. Like he just got hate for his design and that’s it, and I think that’s far too much hate. What matters is in the inside, not outside. Unlike Chica’s Magic Rainbow which looks cute and has a neat design but extremely annoying and dirty minded. Same with Monty and BB. He looks more brand new and 80’s looking but the fact you cannot shoot him. BB may look more cute but the fact that he stole your flashlight because he’s gay and has a crush on Withered Foxy.
endoplush was also probably one of the most underrated fnaf characters in my opinion and i know scott just added him because there was space for another animatronic in the fnaf world roster but there's just something i really like about him.
I think UCN fredbear is very underrated. (For those who don't know, in UCN if you set golden freddy to 1 and have him only active, then purchase a deathcoin and use it on golden freddy, fredbear (non-nightmare version) will automatically jumpscare you.

The fact that scrap trap is purple guy/William afton/ Dave Miller/springtrap (this man has so many names and nick names and that’s not even all of them) makes me hate him less. He’s the worst springtrap design in my opinion but he’s hated way too much

I believe that Yendo is the sister location version of golden freddy, such as Lolbit is another version of Funtime Foxy, there can be 2 different variations of the animatronics.

Nice Video. However I would believe that Shadow Freddy is William’s Agony as Nightmare said in UCN " I Am Your Wickedness Made Of Flesh." And Nightmare is indeed call Shadow Freddy in the game Files in Fnaf 4 which means Shadow Freddy is William’s Agony. Plus, I would be interested of Shadow Freddy being a projection of C.C/BV’s Agony as his jaw is broken in FW.
I’m going to try and “scientifically” explain why scraptrap had some inconsistencies. Whenever metal burns, it of course melts if it is to hot. When it melts, it begins to droop. Scraptrap may have been sitting upside down (somehow). It also could have bubbled up and became...that horrid animatronic. I don’t think I’m right, but maybe I am. Other smart people will correct me if I’m not.
I love shadow Freddy and I think plush baby is a bit cute for some weird reason...

Because he's Shadow Freddy. Purple is the inverse of yellow, hence the inverted colours for this design.

Because the nightmares in fnaf 4 are not the same animatronics William actually planned to use to get Agony from kids in the fake underground bedroom.

Scraptrap and the withered manly Freddy are some of my favorites
I think both Bidybab and Minireenas deserved places on this list, they had so much potential to be great in SL and it was really wasted. Though I do agree that Electrobab and Minreenas 2 are both just unneeded spot fillers and seriously lacking in originality, I don't think that is a downside of the characters themselves. They are both very creepy in my opinion and really don't get much recognition from the fandom

Yeah you SAY that Toy Chica is underrated... but we know the truth.
I'm so upset about clown springtrap is underrated, he really is possibly one of the best (if not, THE best) skins in FNaF AR. I fell in love with it on first sight, the idea of springtrap originally being a clown character, or at least dressing up as a clown, feels almost canon. It really fits his character, being the crazy, sinister, and loathing persona he is. Idk if others agree, but this is the best i can put my feelings into words about him.

I definitely agree that Scraptrap should have had some fire damage incorporated into his design. The lack of fire damage even lead to me coming up with a theory that the Fazbear’s Fright fire never happened at some point.
i can agree that scraptrap has too much hate, and i honestly like his goofy design. it matches how dead corpses decompose over time, and that springbinnie suit looks so old that it could fall apart and reveal just the skeleton and endoskeleton
