Bob Dylan is an American songwriter, singer, artist, and writer. Bob Dylan has been influential in popular music and culture for more than five decades. Much of Bob Dylan's most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when his songs chronicled social unrest.
Bob Dylan's lyrics incorporate a wide range of political, social, philosophical, and literary influences. Bob Dylan's accomplishments as a recording artist and performer have been central to his career, but songwriting is considered his greatest contribution.
Since 1994, Bob Dylan has published seven books of drawings and paintings, and his work has been exhibited in major art galleries. Bob Dylan has received numerous awards including eleven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Academy Award. Dylan has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Songwriters Hall of Fame. The Pulitzer Prize jury in 2008 awarded him a special citation for "his profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power." In May 2012, Dylan received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama. In 2016, he received the Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition".

Is there not something he can't raise the bar on? In full, astounding paintings. Literature un-matched. Cinimatography. Music reason, rytheme and rhyme -unparrelled. I wouldn't be surprised to see some-where his Fabershe egg collection, of coarse, only his own work put to shame the Fabershe egg's. This is it. I am 52 years old, I don't have enough time to even dream of being the man he is... Second best possiblity. The most honest man I can be. To speak not until I know. That is the heavy work of all poets. Tell the truth so it can be seen by all. It is giving. However, the: his own best educator, I am not much on speaking it... I now shead my envey to something greater, by far. I love you and I thank you.

I've heard Bob say that he doesn't sell his paintings, he gives them to friends and family or donates them.
