I have lost so much of my childhood belief but if Bob says that death is not the end I believe him! He was there before me. Wonderful song. I also love the version with Nick Cave, Shane, Kylie and others. A song of hope.
I discovered this song some years ago because I looked up Bob Dylan's worst albums, and this one was amongst them. So i looked up the track listing and this song title caught my eye. I looked it up and it has since been one of my favorite Bob songs

My grandmother, the only living grandparent I've known as an adult just died today. I live in VA and she is in NY with my mother and the rest of her family. I had worked all day and THIS song came on the radio just before I pulled into my driveway. It has got to be a sign. I'm thinking it would be a great song to play at the end of the funeral.
