Mai's pronunciation is correct. When I first travelled I packed everything but the kitchen sink, as the trips and years went on I started to travel lighter and lighter and buying more as I went, last few trips I used to pack about an hour before I was due to leave.

I might try packing cubes next time and also that travel wash tube.
I suppose money belts are only useful in places where you can get mugged like in South America for example. Regarding trainers I would suggest avoiding them (as they are basically only made to do sports) and go for hiking shoes like Salomon instead.
For reading I wouldn't take an extra Kindle but just read on my phone.
