Thank you so so much for helping me through my geography course. You have helped me boost my confidence in geography and helped me believe that I can remember case studies! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you have put into these videos they have helped me so much. Thank you for making me enjoy geography with your infographic videos, they are great at helping people to remember! I hope you feel better soon. Thank you so much!
Don’t thank me… you did all the hard work yourself, be proud of how much time and effort you have put in, I really hope you get a brilliant grade this summer 🙌🏼🙏🏼
You're welcome, just so sorry its so last minute - been really knocked down by this 100 day cough virus. Hope its useful anyway - you have enough time to cram it in before tomorrow :)
Great video, most of it is great help and will probably save my grade. However, while I understand with the arrows (you have a down sign for supply being lower than demand) it may be better to use a small arrow for supply and then bold and bigger arrow for demand as supply is still increasing not decreasing, it is just smaller relative to demand. Anyway, I hope you recover from your illness. Many Thanks!
For the purpose of the exam its best if you 'pretend' its still up for debate, because the exam paper and the pre-release were written before it was rejected in Dec 2023. So for the exam its best if you write about it as if its still up for debate, nowhere in the pre-release booklet does it say its been rejected so no questions should be written about that. By the way thank you for correcting the pronunciation :)
Thank you so much!! By any chance was you on that teacher series a few years ago following new teachers around?? Your voice seems so familiar to one of the new geography teachers!
you taught me in year 9 and my geography teacher in my new school just linked us this video to watch on google classroom in preparation for tomorrow lol
Miss u mentioned in the video that u can prepare for the 9 markers. But they are different each year aren't they ? i have already looked over the past papers and some of them don't involve andy 9 markers for the fieldwork.. can u pls list some potential 9 markers for me so I can practice them? thank u
We (geography teachers) feel that the two likely 9 markers will be fairly similar to this: Section A “should the development go ahead” Section B “for one of your fieldwork enquiries to what extent do your results allow you to reach valid conclusions”
Miss do I need to practice a lot if I know my fieldwork by heart and prepared it well? Also, how can I prepare for issue evaluation? Thanks in advance.
I would practice using the questions in the final section of paper 3 - familiar fieldwork questions just to get them perfected! Then for issue evaluation highlight it, annotate it and summarise the key points - and prepare your 9 marker - SHOULD THE TUDELEY VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT GO AHEAD?
@@GeographyCaseStudiesthanks a lot!!! Miss how do you recommend I prepare it? What should the structure of my response be, what should it include, and for how long? Sorry if I’m asking too much but I am a bit confused and stressed.
Do u mean the unseen or your fieldwork? We have to answer questions on both human and physical case studies and then I'm pretty sure the unseen will be more about data retrieval and describ8ng trends than actually using much knowledge from papers 1 and 2... sm1 correct me if I'm wrong of but that's my understanding of it!
if you really want to you could study about case study of Bristol (which is equally valid in GCSE) and you could find notes on Seneca (AQA Geography) and PMT
@@GeographyCaseStudies We are learning it overall as a HIC city, the opportunities and challenges it has as well as social inequality in Newham compared to Kensington and Chelsea
No, you will be given a fresh copy of the pre-release booklet in the exam tomorrow, its just really helpful if you have studied it beforehand so you know where the main parts are eg: the box about greenfield / brownfield sites, the graphs and the viewpoints...
I hope that both sides of your pillow are cold when you sleep tonight

For 4 and 6 markers, do you have to develop using own knowledge rather than just copying large informations from resource?
Own knowledge (from the booklet) use your own words but reference key facts and quotes and data.
THANK YOU
thank you, that was so helpful!

Thank you so much, I am I promise.
Do you have any advice on how to structure answers to the 9 and 6 markers as i always lose marks on them
Yes I made a video on that - check it out it’s called “how to answer geography questions” on my channel
For 9 markers, can i structure it 3 PEEL + conclusion, with 2 against and 1 for, and overall say no? Thanks

Yes! 👍🏼

Tudeley village is a real place and there is a debate going on right now wheather it should be built or not.
I think the debates over now and they aren't building it
It got thrown out in Dec 2023 (after your paper was written 🤦🏼♀️)
