    My mazda5 has the same leak. Found this video as I'm looking for common leaks on the mazda5.
    Thanks for uploading this.

    Really curious if this did the job. Love that you showed you don't have to remove entire unit unlike in other videos on here.

      I just tried to remove the bolt on mine with no luck. I’m taking mine off at the moment.

      @@kevinford8931 Put the box end of a wrench on the bolt, then lightly tap the wrench with a rubber mallet. I removed my bolt this way.

    I can't remove my air dam without breaking it. the metal bolts and clips are seized and will not come off. Any attempts at removal lead to cracking the plastic air dam. Any suggestions? Should I just remove the air dam forever or does it serve an important purpose. Note a previous owner/oil changer cut into the airdam under the oil filter to facilitate oil filter change (I think this is a pretty common practice in this poorly designed airdam)

    I know this is a dumb question, but are you turning the wrench towards the front of the car or the back of the car? It looks like the front of the car. For the life of me i cant get it off, its so tight :/

      @luthersg  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it was Lefty Loosie but it was tight and hard to get too.

      Left as if youre laying under the car, or left as if you were looking straight down at the bolt?

    Do I have to drain the oil and/or coolant before doing this?

    • @luthersg
      @luthersg  ปีที่แล้ว

      No you do not. You will spill a little so make sure to have some to make up for loss.

      I opened this link, but the gasket Amazon now shows is flat or smashed down, not like the raised right one you showed. Maybe they changed the design. Wish I could find the Exact one you used. Thanks for how to though.
