If it was deliberate to not use any voice acting for this gameplay trailer, it absolutely worked. Loved the emphasis on the trailer music and the sound of wind in the closing scene.

yea, because it is very sensitive part of the game. Most of anime culture are hype about who will be the voice actor and how good the voiceline. I think it was smart move by kuro to hide it first. specially, japan va because oh god, they are simping "japan voiceline is the best"
Voiceover is also costly and a bit inflexible. A lot can change before release, be it plot, narrative, characters, etc. Having voices gives the product a "finality" and "conclusivity" to it, which Kuro might not be ready to commit to, considering how much changes were made and resources were used.
As long as the product is visually intruiging, the voices will simply compliment whatever hype they've built.

I'm mostly concerned about the marketing for Wuthering Waves as I only discovered it through a random leak on my TH-cam revealing the characters and the M/Rover catching my attention and ever since I've been hyped for it. But considering how pure chance that was, I would have never even known this game existed and I hope it doesn't fall into the abyss due to poor advertisement. This game looks amazing! I want the best for it.
It's nice you found the game, it's okay if the game is niched and has small community. As long as the community is helpful and fun, and has an adequate size to maintain the game. It's all good, we are all happy

Wow! They really did listened to the feedbacks. I have watched some review videos complaining about how dull the colors were in Wuthering Waves so seeing in this trailer that the colors are popping out more along with the lighting really means that when Kurogames are doing the beta test, they are really using the feedback from that to improve the game.

After watching the entire dev interview, I'd say that's the best title for this trailer and the upcoming CBT.
The world looks more alive, yet, still being ominous and apocalyptic at the right places. The characters look so much better after the redesign and I cannot stress enough how dedicated they are to rewrite 90% of the entire story (so far).
Can't wait to experience the newly reborned WuWa (copium for a key).
Seems we're getting closer and closer to release, i'm super excited!

Duuudee!! As a PGR veteran supporting Kuro for how long now, I want this game to succeed! Compared to CBT1 it looks a lot more refined with the coloring while still maintaining the apocalyptic feel. After the devs listened and heard feedback from the players in the first beta especially, they just fricking revamped 90% of the story which is no small feat. I find it funny how some employees of HI3 left and joined Kuro Games after the disagreement of HI3 game direction lmao. I’m genuinely exited, just hoping these Genshin fanboys aren’t doing all this “Genshin killer” BS. As one of the devs said for WW, they want to make all content accessible, but have competitive and sweat content that caters to us. “Casual but deep”.

Character movements are insanely good. You can tell that they have a "character" and don't act like robots or NPC's like most of the other games. Combat animations look so smooth. I believe this game has so much potential and looks insanely good. Really excited to play it, can't wait!!
Pretty good, yes. But I'm Even more curious about the two segments of footage showing the white dragon-like echo and the Hell Rider (the biker) echo. Those don't look like combat, at least not the Hell Rider one, but rather seems to be some kind of minigame or something.

But yes, you can still turn into hell rider in openworld but less than 10 second, good for exploration👍
@@Kramer8 Yeah, I know. Being able to stay un BOSS mode for long time would be broken, probably. Also, what I meaned back there was that there seems to be a minigame where you ride as Hell Rider throught some sort of ruins of a highway.

Kuro's ability to cook gameplay is beyond amazing, just after I thought there wouldn't be a gacha game that would be like PGR in term of cinematic fights, I was proven wrong by Kuro with Wuthering Waves.
But that's the problem....Kuro basically monopolizes the title "The Game Developer that makes Insane Combat" in the gacha game market. What the hell are the other gacha game devs doing? Because i fear if Kuro doesn't have competition they will not improve more (even though i know they always seem to improve every time they cook but still)

I was introduced to WW through my TikTok and honestly I’m excited! Whether I stay for a short time or a long time, doesn’t matter as long as I have fun and enjoyed what the games has to offer.
I've been acompanying Kurogames ever since Alpha first debuted in the chinese server, I was immediately captured by what I saw as a ground-breaking action combat game in a section of gaming I always dismissed as a joke. Alpha versus Rosetta, after that I was already a fan.
When the game went global, I immediately started playing it since day 1, and even now I'm still a fervent player of Punishing Gray Raven. I feel incredibly proud and emotional by seeing just how far Kurogames has come, how much they've evolved from their once talented yet inexperienced devs into the juggernaut they're now.
