Thank you! Indeed, the original seats were just too basic. In hindsight, I might have added some more other cockpit detail, but it least it looks acceptable at an arm's length distance.
This is the Esci under a different label. It is still sold by Italeri at a typically high price for a 45 year old mould. As this video proves, it is a very nice model.
As stated by @lllordllloyd, it is indeed the same as the ESCI kit. The Italeri kit however is based on the same moulds and very similar, but not exactly 100% the same. As for the price; this one came from a second-hand site for €10,-. Not a bad deal imho!.
Slick paint job!
Ooooh, that burnt paint effect is very tasty! Great jet!
Thanks!
As stated in the vid it was done with soft-pastel powder and not with an airbrush. My airbrush-handling still lacks that level of subtlety..
@KitKabinet whatever gets the job done!
Stunning result as always!! The resin seats make a huge difference
Thank you!

Merci !
Great job , not much choice in 1/72 supersabres , i remember esci had a decent one , i have a frog one in stash wich is the hasegawa tool.
