This is my two year old husky Nikita. As far as huskies go, he isn't as vocal as some, but the one thing that will get him to howl is his squeaky ball. He gets so excited when I get it out for him.
I play this video all the time for my 3 huskies and within 3 seconds they start howling with each other for at least 5 minutes or longer! They love this video

Well Nikita would be 15 now, and average husky life-span is 12-15 so hopefully hes still alive and well ❤. But if not he was a beautiful boy and created happiness either way!

I had several Huskies when I was younger and they all howled. It's a beautiful sound! Also, their fur doesn't get stinky, it always smells sweet. Many years ago I had to go on a business trip and had to leave my precious Husky with a friend for two weeks. When I picked him up, she asked me if I sprayed him with perfume because he smelled sweet. Of course, I never sprayed him. That 's just the way Huskies smell.

My Lab/Australian shepard mix does the same thing but only if i squeak his toys to a certain rhythm. It's the coolest thing and it sounds like he is trying to talk... I wish i could get him to howl but he only does that when he thinks im not around. great vid!
