    Thank you for posting
I think I will pick this up
Gives me a reason to buy the Fireforge Templars!
Hope to see a battle report soon!

20:06 ...just change those to you liking then...for example I enhanced melee rules by adding Combat Pool just as those are in Ronin it ads just that extra deep to individual character, after all skirmish game is all about individuality... but for me what is really standing out in this game above all the others is the campaign section (since you use cards and only one suit per player, you can't have more than 13 models in play on the battlefield, so the rest are just "cheerleadering"? one may ask...well no, those with the right perk (or traits) may contribute to the warband by say...making a set of armour ( if they are not playing actively in one game and have the right trait to do it)...all in all a really neat game.

I'm going to get this just to complete my Osprey collection, but honestly I'm not too hot on yet another warband game...
750 points (livres) with about 50-ish per guy average you're looking at maybe 15 models per side. This worries me, in my experience this "personal init card" mechanic breaks down very quickly as the model count increases. All this stuff REQUIRES each model to be individually identifiable. All model ranges do not support this at all...
I think the mechanics are really more for something like half a dozen models per side, max.

50 livres ish per guy, before equipment. Your lucky to get 5 decently armed and armoured guys from 750. Although... 15 unarmed peasants maybe an idea...

does anyone know where to buy plastic Saracens?

Gripping Beast has some nice boxes of plastic saracens, also with a matching run of shield transfers so you can have nearly 60 that are different. I use metal and resin for warlords and some more heavily armored heavy cavalry though
