As dumb as Tag is sometimes I love watching her … you can’t help but smile when you see how much FUN that pup is having regardless of what’s going on around lmao
her🤣
*her
Your girls are excellent helpers. Bindi was even listening to Olive! Job well done Carter family!
Kid's experiencing work with their elders is SOOOO important.
@@nannettehuffman8397 Sweet Little Olive will be taking over Josephs job for long at this rate . lol Good Job Olive
That was fun to see Bindi's mannerisms change when you switched to Honey Badger and Bindi was on the outside. When Honey Badger came outside, Bindi faced away and acted like she didn't notice or care that the Mink was there. But at the same time she would glance back to make sure Honey Badger wasn't coming after her. She knew that Honey Badger was not trustworthy to not bite her. What a smart dog!!
Three in a row for bindi that's called a rat trick!
Reminds me of Boss. Excellent discipline.
😂😂😂
😂😂clever
Olive is growing up so much and turning into a fantastic hunter herself.
Olives braver than most us men don't worry about her
Olive and Bindi could make a great team. They both did excellent work today. I didn't realize that Olive was learning so much. She sure is confident and really impressive.
you may have a great point and a future ratting team
It will be interesting to see how fast Bindi learns that "Ratratratratrat!" Means the same thing as "Kssksskss!". Or Olive will learn how to say "Kssksskssksskss!"
These messy yards with chicken coups are job security for Joseph and the gang.
And fun-onna-bun with a side of fries for the mink and dogs (literally!) 😂😋
16:13 that is so adorable, Leia knew the mink was coming and so cleared out, which her human understood immediately before seeing the mink. Incredible teamwork!
Olive is SUCH a good helper! Man, that good Bindi girl is one smart cookie!!
She's gone well beyond good little helper!
She could practically run the show if dad needs a break.
I think that in a very short time, Olive will be catching live rats with her hands, just like her father.
You live in such an amazingly beautiful part of the country. That mountain view behind you in the opening scene of the video is truly magnificent.
Does it seem like Tag is improving? She certainly has the drive, unlike, say, Lilly. Hopefully she's curtailed her bad habits of running off a distance with the rat, and tossing it about.
Suggestion for quick & cheap rat barrier between old & new woodpiles: 1x1 stakes, sharpened at one end, drive into ground; cardboard/campaign posters attached with staple gun.
First time I've seen a mink (Wyatt here) cache without the special cache box around.
Only one rat for Leia? Hope the old girl isn't slowing down with age.
Joe, you often/always have the knives on your hips, but I've never seen you use them. What are they for? Finishing off wounded rats?
Your girls are awesome. And this flatlander thinks the mountain scenery is gorgeous.
I use them for bigger stuff, like raccoons and beavers.
that lil girl holding a 3 big rats wow
Ellie and Olive are such good workers! They are both a real addition to the team! and Joe I can't believe you go through what was essentially a dog door - wild indeed! Maggie thanks for the beautiful scenery at the end - most of us don't have those views where we live.😀
How great to see the "newest" minks - Sherlock, Rascal, and Wyatt - get involved! They are all 3 coming along well. Wyatt seems to be still so little! and what a great cache-er!
Thank you so much!
27:15 amazing! The training and time you put in to the dogs and mink is mind boggling! 👏🏻
"I'm really helping, right dad?" So wholesome.
If only all dogs are as clever and beautiful as Bindi.
You have the perfect landscape in the background 👍. Those mountain ranges are beautiful. What are the names of those mountains? They are gorgeous with the snow. And your animals are beautiful also. Your kids are precious
This is the Wasatch mountain range, each peak has its own name.
I just love your content ! Just SUPER !
My father raised mink for fur & if one got out , he used a soft mouthed terrier ( Ahem ) to catch the offender .
A rat - was shook dead by our rat terriers !
Somehow , I've turned into a Border Collie person ! Go figure ! 😅😅😅😂❤❤😢
Here in Australia if you were to hand move a large wood pile on a rural property, the question would be not if there is any snakes but how many. Especially if the place has rats there would be snakes hiding under any timber or scrap metal piles.
Yeah it's like 38°F (3°C) when we were doing this, so zero risk of snake bites. Plus I've never seen any venomous snakes around this area.
Bindi is such an awesome dog 🐕 and so smart!!! The girls did awesome. Such good helpers!!!
Well done to the all the family, another great video. Sending love to all the family, dogs and minks. Well done sherlock, Honey badger, Rascal and Wyatt. Sending love, from, Jacqui, Perth, Western Australia.
Thanks so much
It was so cute when his daughter asked if she was helping!
Kids need praise as much as doggies 😁
Great to see the girls are of an age that they can help. Also great that you let them play when they have done enough
Just have to add an aside Joseph, my Dad was a Gamekeeper in England, I was a beater at age 7, my Dad used to shout to me when I got the birds up, "That's my best girl", my goodness you remind me so much of him. Great Dad & Mum. 🐶🐶❤❤
Wow Olive is such a great helper so grown up already. Joe your a mink and the big guy is tag 😂😂😊❤
Cool video! I do miss the muskrat video's though
If you plan to use wood as fuel, you should never store it on the ground like this. It stays wet and is rotting away fast.
However piles like this are habitat for a lot of insects and small critters.
In this case, i would ether remove it entirely or build the pile a good distance away from the chicken coup.
I normally don't like children...but the GIRLS are rockin! :)
I remember when i was Olive's age I would take my aireadale aussie cross and go catch pocket gophers, mice, and pack rats in the garden, chicken coop and feed shed, and I still do with him, and my sisters dog now as well. That is so familiar to me " Rigby, rigby rigby! Get it get it!" Only dofference is its Bindi for her, and not Stella or Rigby
Thank you for teaching those sweet girls the value of hard work. Also, Tag is coming along well!
Your daughter Olive is really getting into ratting now lol, she might steal your job or at least take over when you are a grandpa. Kinda cute watching how she has grown and is into what you do. Reminds me of Steve Irwin and their kids.
Oh my goodness. She sounds just like you in tone when commanding the dogs :D
Why do I feel proud seeing your kids being in control and guiding the dogs 😍
¡Hola Joseph, Maggie, Olive, Eleanor y Galilee! Que tengas unas felices Pascuas 🐣 y vete en paz.
Not trying to be creepy or anything.. But been watching your channel for a long time... Cool to see that you continue to keep your daughter involved... I remember when she was so young.. Once again I'm not a weirdo... My daughter and I enjoyed similar sporting activities... It's a good relationship builder:)
Peace: ) It's just cool to see Dads and Daughters find something they both enjoy:)
Great video of your family working together to eradicate rats! That ending where Wyatt cached Rascals kill was a real highlight, you were so joyful Joe and Maggie!
You're very lucky to have your young girls to help you Joseph; they do a great job. (THE RAT TRAPPER)
Bindi is so enthusiastic, but also calm and determined.
Like how bindi can have a rat in her mouth then see another one and unalive that one took. Multitasking
Question, have you looked up Twitter rules regarding censorship for hunting videos? They pay content creators now and I was wondering if you were still interested in showing us plebs the videos we don't get to see on TH-cam for free.
It’s fun seeing your kids get in on the family business haha. Bindi is such an amazing dog!
Aww your wife and daughters are amazing little helpers Joseph, wonderful family unit all working together, I wish people would stack their wood piles off the ground, the farm owners certainly don’t make it easy for you and the team and your fantastic dogs and mink, some of the rats were big too, tfs guys x Julie 🇬🇧
Absolutely love watching you and your family. Thank you Joseph, Mrs J, girls, dogs and Mink, made my Monday!! 🙏🙏👍👍🐶🐶
looks like such a fun family activity and you seem like a great dad mink man
Been watching a while now, it’s nice to see novice bindi with the bucket, turn into your go to girl super ratter
your outdoor backyard view is like my holidays view looks :) Cheers, enjoy what you have. Bless
I hope you get your badger soon... As you know i have been waiting. And also (may i remind you) about mentioning the other animals such as ferrets, weasels etc... I love watching your channel. Sorry that you had to put one of your dogs down recently. They all have there own personality.
Nice-looking hills behind you.
“Hills” 😂
I laughed so hard when the dog was gonna get the rat in the fence but he couldn’t fit
The dogs really respond to Olive the love is obvious !
It seems Boss's boots fit Bindi well.
Heh a family affair! The kid defintely has some Joe in her 😎🙏
Daddy's sweet, strong, brave girls helping him again. It's so nice to see children being strong and handy with jobs and chores before getting a chance to play. You don't see that much these days, as children prefer to be on their phones and playing video games.
Olive is ready to take over the business. Wow
"Where's little Gypsy??" 😂😢😮😅😿😾🙀🐶🐕
Love seeing your girls out there working with you. It’s soooo good for them.
"It was a biiiig one" So cute.
WOW
Maybe set up barriers with poles and chicken wire fence or plastic sheeting?
Joe u should buy so kind of portable fencing stuff that u can take on big jobs like this to contain the rats when tey run. Love your show
The new Ratting Generation grow Up with so much fun 👍🏼🤩
Listening to him talk about his girls with pride, they get to work and play with him and the mink. Such a beautiful family.
Brilliant video jo great watching you working with your family well done lady's
12:25 that rat looked as big, or perhaps bigger, than the mink.
you really need to set up barriers first before moving things to prevent rats from escaping to your new piles of wood..
Great idea. I expect there are times when that's not feasible though.
@@bernadettecartinyou have a truck so ask you need to do is get 4-6 pieces of wood anything to build a barrier so rats can’t escape.
Subscribed ❤🇮🇳
The daughter and her daddy making memories catching rats.
Great video and it's great seeing your kids getting involved 👍👍
Hiya Joe, great job dude. Much love and respect from the UK. 😄😄👍👍
I would love it if you would research the Rat Terrier they were bred from several breeds whippet greyhound and severl other breeds that are small bodied legs are longer then most terriers and very fast and can jump up on things when going after rats they are true ratters I loved my 2 they have passed of old age now I just rescued a Rat wire haired Terrier that is starting to hunt my Grandson has a farm and 2 barns that in the near future we will hunt but first I have to train him to obey commands
Bindi is awesome, but I think the real mvp here is olive!
Joe I have seen your videos and I’m curious on where do the baby rats end up. Greetings from Arizona!
They raise them to teach the dogs
@@h2oratt2000Do they? That's new info for me. I only know of the guy who raises them for reptile food who takes babies for his mama rats to foster
@@bernadettecartin hi, yes he fosters the babies too and sells for reptile food. He uses the rats to train the mink also
@@donnanorman1022 Thanks for the info. I only knew of Joe processing the rat meat from the kills to feed his mink. Didn't know he had expanded that part of the operation. I remember that story of someone stealing his backpack that was full of fresh rat carcasses. 🤣🤣🤣
Served them right.
Using live rats?@@h2oratt2000
FYI flaco or flaquito is Spanish for skinny.
Sip
Hey Joe, we are thinking about about getting a dog suitable for ratting. I'm not sure you have specified the characteristics you look for in a good dog.
I'm sorry but tag definitely rides the short bus😂 I know he was going for what he had with boss with tag. But he fell short about a million miles
Hopefully Tag is just a late bloomer.
Joe, your celebratory dance at 27:23 was thew most entertaining thing I've seen in awhile!!
😅😅
idk how i got here but i cant stop watching for some reason
Same here. Been watching this for years and it never gets boring.
MINK IN THE HOLE !!😂🎉
Ms. Olive is a great helper!
Tag is having way too much fun 😂
I don't know how you guys do it, Joe. I had a rat in my apartment and nearly fell over in fear. Actually I did, but I caught myself. I don't know who was more scared but I can't even look at a video without squirming. Yeah, I'm a big baby.
Joe, is Bindi ok? She looks and acts like she doesn't feel well. Great Video!
I thought the mink you called Rascal was Honey Badger
You are the best, Joe.and your amazing family. Thanx!
i love to see kids on parents jobs helping out, good years
Hi Brother Carter,
You've said in previous videos that one reason for ratting is that rats spread disease. That leaves me curious how you, and now your children can handle rats with bare hands. This seems a risky proposition! Please explain. Thanks.
The girls are just like their pop.
“Don’t attack the goat, don’t attack the goat!” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
The way the girls have been growing over the years joe will be able to retire early
Joe is still the no.1 rat hunter on the planet for sure.
007mink-the silencers
Those girls are gonna become better hunters than you Joe!
Joe, you’re so funny squeezing into that dog flap. Tag is not very effective as she always plays with the rats.
Joe are you still in the mix to get some other Weasel species like the Long Tailed Weasel or not really?
Yes, I'm working on the legal aspects at tge moment.
I see@@JosephCartertheMinkMan
Your girls are absolute darlings, u sound like your awsome parents.
Sherlock is definitely a hero!
Bindi is such a good girl 💖
Did he mate ? No, he just fought. Minks 😂
Girls rule 🎉
