    I used blue butterfly pea flower after I made lilac water (same technique as rosewater) but added about a teaspoon pea flower to the warm distilled lilac water until it cooled completely, then strained. Got some really great color that way and there wasn't any scent from the pea flower so it smells like pure lilac🦋

      Wonderful! i will have to try that! I have blue butterfly pea flower . what a great idea : )

    Thank you for sharing all these treasures... Lilac from this side is being discovered f😇r Hair Oil, Syrup, tea, herbal wash for Afro-natural hair, eye spray, ... a perfume out of it; Very different from your composition & lot more coming out in 2025... Very interesting how plants talk to us!

    Loved it!
    Back I the 1960's
    my maternal Grandmother
    lived in a small Central Texas
    town called Cleburne.
    She lived in a duplex like most
    widowed ladies did back then.
    Her neighbor had a Beautiful
    purple Lilac on her side and
    my Grams had pink one on
    her side. I always went home
    from a visit with a Mason jar
    with Lilac branches.
    I love Lilac body sprays, perfumes
    and candles because they remind
    me of my Grams!

    Last year I made Lilac jelly it turned out great it set and everything...this year, i picked a basket of blooms earlier in the season and made the lilac jelly according to recipe. My first batch, set test worked but after jarring stayed in liquid form (thought the certo was expired so bought another box) did my second batch, set test worked and again in the jars I have lilac liquid :( so I did a small jar of lilac sugar instead and forgot about the basket of blooms in the back. I have a couple small jars of dried blooms instead...this also happened with the dandelion honey --- it is liquid lol will have to wait till next year to try again (a year can be a long wait😅) thank you for the video

      @pagancrafting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i bet the lilac sugar would be so tasty in tea !
      small window here as well this year only 1.5 weeks long, they turned brown fast. I found my lilac honey went thinner as well, but still workable, :) at least you managed to get some dried for special occasions :)

    I really enjoy your channel 💟💜💟💜
    It reminds me of the type of content I create. I don't really indulge in videos as much as I film my own BUT divinity always draws me close to those with similar vibrations and missions as my own.
    Thank you so much for your lovely guidance with the incredible element of lilac!🪻
    For two summers in a row I was in search for lilacs - to make a video on Lilac Lemonade 🍋
    I wished & wished for them foraging in the wild.
    Then one day my daughter and myself took a walk and stumbled across multiple multiple bushes of LILACS! ⭐
    RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARD! I manifested these beauties! This year I took my first spring walk around the neighborhood to access what was growing.
    Now there's SEVERAL little nooks and side trails FILLED with LILACS!🪻💜💟
    So long story short - I spent an abundant amount of time looking for lilacs and in turn the universe granted me an abundance of lilacs. 😂
    I appreciate this video 💫☁️

    I miss my lilac flowers 😭 I had a beautiful white lilac tree in my yard when I lived in Oregon, and a purple one when I lived in Nevada. Unfortunately, lilacs don't do well in Florida. I've heard it be used in love magic but didn't know some considered it unlucky due to its connection with death. Thanks for a great video! You've inspired me to try my hand (again) at making my own salves, perfumes, and oils!

    Lovely. Do you wash the lilacs first? Let them dry before beginning?

    • @pagancrafting
      @pagancrafting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i carefully go through them all first, look for critters, but if you wash first they will wilt and adds to much moisture to the oil , if you dehydrate them after washing them that could work.
