Thank you for this inspiration. I have recently came across your videos and enjoy them very much. I too live in NY state. I like connecting with locally videos rather than other parts of the US. BC not everything grows here. ✌🏻
@@lisaf9316 haha yup it’s a very particular climate when it comes to gardening! I’m in a new place now (still in ny) with a full garden and will be coming out with a gardening video soon on my vlog channel. It’s The Hedge Witch’s Hearth Homestead on YT

There are a lot of seasonal food guides for where you live, free online!
Also, I used to use Farm To People to get local and seasonal produce. That helped me learn about new veggies, and took the stress out of the grocery store.
That is so helpful to know!
I love eating seasonal really helps me get in tune with the elements I have a little bit of kitchen witch vibes I guess plan on making a special potato soup for Lammas and definitely getting a chocolate pie it's been so long since I've had some
When you were talking about how a lot of fruits and vegetables are in season around Lughnasadh, it brought me a lot of joy. Lughnasadh/Lammas truly is a time to rejoice and be thankful for the abundance all around us!
It really is a season of abundance! Lammas blessings to you 🌽
So glad I found your channel ❤️

How fun!
I really wanna get back into sewing in honor of Athena thinking of making some garments inspired by the elements
That’s a great idea!
Summer is my least favorite time of the year. It's hard to be in a good mood in August. It's kind of like the feeling of almost being able to not be oppressed. I think I need to move. I bet I would appreciate summer if I lived where it snowed more than 6 months out of the year.
@@stephanieann9770 yeah seasonal depression can happen in the summer for some people. It could be astrology too. If your rising sign is in the winter I think summer is your low energy time
Living in southern Florida for summer is genuinely the most difficult time of the year. I get so depressed because I am indoors all day so I completely relate to you. Everything people typically do in the winter, I do in the summer because I have to stay indoors because of heat advisories. But baking bread inside is not so bad as a summer task, and sunset hours aren't so hot to sit on the porch with. The rest of the day though- 😭
We did use the tamales wraps for our corn dollies. They worked out well.
@@kathleenroberts7972 good to know! I got some for this year too
Lovely video🖤💫🤍
Thanks so much!!
@@AfuraNefertiti You're very welcome !
