I'm looking for a good medium priced 5-String and leaning toward the "London". Do you have any advice to share? Thanks!

Hi Casey, Love your video ! It's my birthday ! I am looking for the most natural high quality pick up for my violin on stage. which one would you please recommend ?

Hi @Ferenz111, don't want to speak on Casey's behalf, and I'm sure he'll provide insights when he has the chance to read your question. In the meantime, DYN V P48 is our top choice in terms of sound quality on stage. You can think about it as a studio condenser mic, but always connected to your violin, so you're free to move on stage without altering the sound. Inside the capsule of this phantom powered mic, there is an active electronic that offer you a wider dynamic range and the pre-shaped EQ of the active filters make it ready for the violin timber since the first installation.
In alternative, the STAT V is our bridge mounted microphone so a bit more "punchy" than the DYN. Here's our video playlist for the STAT: th-cam.com/play/PLsD-6s1k2vMLbR4Igw0RA1dvJKXizQwZ4.html&si=eW1NBNHXZN58t8Tn
To give you an idea, usually the DYN is more appreciated by classical violin players, while the STAT better suits jazz and folk violinist for its response to the rhythmic use of the bow.
