Google Asking For Payment - When creating an account on Google Devices such as the Nvidia Shield or Chromecast it may say you need to subscribe. I'm not sure why it does this but create an account on the Antstream website using mobile or pc and verify the email and sign in on your device. This app is totally free and the subscription is to remove ads when added at the end of the month. If it still asks for subscription after verifying your email, clear the app data and login again. (They have said there is a bug with Google devices asking for subscription)
Waiting For Verification Email - As mentioned in the video I didn't receive the verification email until a day later. But I contacted Antstream by opening a ticket and they manually verified my account within minutes. You can open a ticket with the account email here - antstream.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new
When Clicking Play It Doesn't Open - You can't play the game until you have verified your account. For people having issues with Google asking for payment, this app is 100% free so read above, or verify email first.

Kids of today with their c.o.d didnt know what they were missing with retro games, now this app allows them to play games we grew up with. We need more free apps like this to make the world a better place.

I first found about antstream a couple months ago when I heard that it comes with the Atari VCS. I tried it right away on my computer and its pretty good. One of my favorites is Bubble Bobble, since I used to play that on my Commodore64 when I was a kid.

Great video Adam I will definitely use this for the grandchildren, so to the joke of the day. I installed it, and the process worked witout a hitch. As soon as I installed it, I created a login account. A split second later, I got the email for confirmation. As soon as I confirmed my email address I was able t use it. Te best part is that even though it was obtained from the Amazon app store, it automatically got installed to my external USB drive!

It worked fine on my Android devices, but my FireTV Cube 2nd gen it got stuck on “processing”. When I tried it out on my Android TV Frogger was not found (my wife’s favorite game. My favorite game on this free app is a tie between Space Invaders, and Pac-Man. Thank you for the video, Free Tech. You just made my day with this!😀👍🎉

No luck here, I tried through my Shield and on my PC, still asked for a paid subscription...
I set it up on my firestick by creating the free account. Then I downloaded it on my PC and works great. Did not ask for me to pay but it did give me the choice to subscribe to the premium version.

Any game controller will work which has Bluetooth bud. Xbox 1, ps4, game pad, etc.

It says right in the Amazon store app Play 1000's of arcade games for a low monthly fee. Don't know how you are playing for free. I had 1 day to play for free.

Ok did a little more checking. It is free. But I definitely recommend a game controller. The remote is a nightmare.

Tried playing 3 different games on PC, but due to an input delay of around 1.5-2 seconds, the action/arcade games are frustratingly nigh unplayable.
