All the steps you are explaining are fine, but if I have a Google TV and I have the Stadia remote, how can I program it to use it?
Anyone have a guide for the Hyperkin n64 controler. It's confusing as heck trying to apply them to the Xbox style controler option that happy chic defaults to automatically. Hopefully I made sense.

Trying to get the app for my firestick. When I click install I get a error saying app not installed not sure what to do.
I install this app on my firestick and it works fine for the most part but when I try to play roms that are larger in file size how can I add extra storage in order to download them if I had an extra flash drive plugged in with an OTG adapter?

Once I'm in app it brings up Chinese writing under download. It doesn't just download the game. It goes to another screen where i have several options but nothing works. Please help

I tried doing it 10 times I keep getting harmful to download message then when I hit install anyways it does it then once I open it.it’s saying network error anyone else getting these messages

When I press launch, it just returns me back to the page where I select the controller. It’ll show me the black screen but return me back to the controller page.

Set this all up however I'm using a ps5 controller and I can't start the game, I've changed which button is start but it won't start the game, all I can do is watch the game with PRESS START flashing at me.. any ideas?

No. You have to be online I'm pretty sure, I can't play because I have to use a VIP membership, I'm not paying that...

I have one question: Is it possible to use Logitech F710 wireless game controller to play any of this retro games? I have Firestick 4K 1 generation. Hi Rob, yes if you buy an OTG cable for your firestick, you can plug in the receiver for the F710 in to it. Something like - amzn.to/2X14F8a
@@TechDoctorUK Thanks doc, I have OTG cable as well, put USB external USB drive, and everything works great. Now, I put USB hub, put USB ex drive, and have three more empty spaces so that what you suggest I tried first without success. But I see my F710 in Happy Chick as controler 2, but I can't confihure it. Just like I miss something.....

Install was smooth but when i try to download games it requires 'activate vip'; when i scan/follow QR code it returns 'Oops, something went wrong'. Any ideas?
Amazing tutorial many thanks, but i've a qestions: how about sega saturn, and psx? Emulation DC and N64 is good ?
His Tutorials page explicitly mentions that it will play PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64 (and PSP). Unsure if you have to import your own bios for PSX. Unsure about Saturn or DC, I use either RetroArch cores plus I have standalone emulators on my Shield as they do run better than the RetroArch cores. Yaba Sanshiro and Redream respectively. Both have free versions in the Play Store. Don't have the same convenience of built-in download of ROMS but I already have a big ROM collection.

I downloaded Retroarch and a couple rom packs but my boomer tenancies must be setting in early as I can't actually get anything to run... can find them in retroarch but they crash on launch 😪

You can delete them from managing settings :) not tried offline one tho
I've had this for a while and still find the xbox controller scrolls left without touching the controller anyone else having this problem
