Insane to put Ursula in anything but S tier. Idc if smash exists… it BETTER exist or you lose the game. One successful Ursula chant can swing enough tempo to win the game.
Wanted to make a comment about Milo: King of Atlantis that I think you all missed and its based on having gone against it at my locals this past week. Milo's ability says that when he's banished, but it doesn't specify when he has to be banished (like banished in a challenge or banished on opponents turn.) Which means that you can build up a board presence, then use Milo as basically a sacrifice to hit something big enough that's exerted, thus banishing himself and bouncing everything back to the opponents hand thus allowing you to quest for the rest of the turn freely. Yeah you'll lose the 3 lore from him being banished but if you have a board of high questers anyway that risk getting banished the following turn anyway, then why not sac him to get that lore boost immediately? The deck I went against was able to reliably get Milo out on T4 in the two games we played and he was such a threat that I had no clue how to deal with given the rest of the board they had. Plus they had Rourke on the board too so even if Milo was banished, I'd still lose a lore anyway. Tl;Dr, I think so many people are sleeping on Milo and I honestly don't know why since he is such a complicated threat to deal with. (Also I recently found you guys channel and absolutely love it! Can't wait for the rest of the color reviews for this set!)
Was curios about the inkable/uninkable ratio in each color after the discussion about Emerald so I did some math using the app. These are the ratios for each color: Amethyst 78 ink (~69%)/35 unink (~31%) Amber 91 ink (~76%)/28 unink (~24%) Emerald 81 ink (~71%)/32 unink (~29%) Ruby 80 ink (~70%)/35 unink (~30%) Sapphire 92 ink (~81%)/22 unink (~19%) Steel 93 ink (~80%)/23 unink (~20%) So when doing the math about ink/unink cards, Emerald is in the top half but is technically less than Ruby and Amethyst in terms of ratio. However, I don't disagree with you guys statement Emerald being a little left out. Its the disruption color which is technically the feel bad color, so I can understand the really threatening effects being on higher cost uninkable cards, but my main deck is a Ruby/Emerald deck and it is so fast and does just enough disruption that it's very hard to go against. Either way, I felt like doing the math so there's the current numbers by the release of this set :)
