Ink generation is going to be the bane of this deck, to the point you will use all inkable from booster pack to get this thing going. Playing from behind seems to be the identity of this deck. Use a lot of low beat sticks until you get the Three Siblings. (Like #6)

I think it will be cool to see things like “pirate decks” pop up that focus on the synergy you get now that there are more cards in each category available. I’ve been enjoying tinkering around with the Floodborn synergy with cards like Bucky and Nana in my discard deck. In your other deck review, I was looking at the flotsam/jetsam cards that came out with that precon. I’m excited to try the new set and the old set together in an emerald/amethyst build. That stack could be wild if you could get them out together since you’d get a crazy mix of rush, evasive, ward, and offense boost.
I really wanted to play this at my LGS because i love duck tales but comparing the 2 decks id have to say the other one is much better for the pre release event.
I will partecipate to my first pre release event next saturday and i will choose the other starter deck, but i would like to get this one too to gift it to my GF so she can start play too
98 - I’m still trying to figure out locations. Do cards have to be dry before they can be moved to a location or can you pay the cost to play a character and then also pay the additional move cost to get them in the location while still drying?
Seriously? So characters that have effects by moving to a location can get that even before they dry? That’s fun! I guess similar to cards that have abilities when they come into play except that you have to pay extra in this case.
Or is it a Starter Deck SUPER Challenge? In all seriousness though I don’t expect you to be able to replace all of those cards but some people like certain cards and this gives them some options.

Drying has no effect on the ability to move to a location. You can move a character to a location the turn you play it or the location
