Aston Martins are covered in pig tail sanding marks. It tends to be the higher performance and more luxurious cars that are the worst as they are handled a lot more. The only cars that come with perfect paintwork, but then they go to a dealership and are washed incorrectly there!
I know someone who works at a Ferrari dealership. They told me that when new cars come in from the factory the paint is total garbage. They steer the customer to getting a new car detail before they ever see the car. Shocking.

Nice transformation, do you find the hose on the extraction machine is a bit too short? How long did the detail take to complete, I know you would of been moving cameras etc but an estimate?
I have a painters mask for applying certain ceramic coatings as they are carcinogenic. I use non toxic and water based chemicals and try avoid solvent based chemicals. It also helps working outside
I try and use as concentrated products as possible, so I’m using small amounts of product. The majority of my cleaning solutions are water based and bio-degradable as I’m absolutely aware of the environmental factors

Believe me I’m conscious of what products I use and how much water I use. The majority of the chemicals I use are biodegradable and have a high concentration, so I use less product as they dilute very well.
@@michaelanderson6727 on the tire it states the MAX pressure. Tyre pressure for your car is useally to be found in the door sill. For the Model 3 Performance it’s 2,9 bar (you can google to convert to psi)

No, as there is a risk of spray the dirt into the clear coat. The pre-wash softens the dirt which is then safe to rinse away, which is then followed by a foam

7:29 do you use a dedicated brush just for the rubbers around the window as I find the dirt they lift off stains the brush a little until washed.
No, I use it for multiple jobs.
Use a strong APC or washing up liquid to wash the brush 👊🏼

It’s to hold the door open when machine polishing to allow me to get close to the edges.

How do you determine whether you use citrus degreaser prewash or Surfex HD as prewash?
I tend to use citrus on maintenance so if it is protected by a wax or coating, and surfex on cars that I haven’t seen before and need a little more cleaning power 👍🏼

What’s the carpet quality like compared to a similar £50k bmw?
Not great compared to BMW!
The mats are ok’ish but underneath is really difficult to vacuum compared to BMW

I would in winter as the product would be able to dwell, however if I did this in summer I would run the risk of the product drying out.
