love the tree. are you going to paint the support stake black? what about planting creeping thyme rather than grass between stepping stones to the "door"?
Love the weeping Blue Atlas. You could get a long piece of rebar at Lowe’s and paint it to match your fence and it would be sturdy enough to add some more curves. I love when you get excited about a new item in your garden. 😁
GORGEOUS! I LOVE IT! That weeping atlas cedar! It looks so great with the background fence and highlights your “mirrored door”. I can’t wait to see the stones you’re going to place in front of that “door”.❤
I’m so excited for you… you got your dream plant! Thank you for your positivity and excitement for your garden, it is what it is start every morning with, my Robbie and Brent update! ❤
Good morning! I watch your videos on TH-cam on my TV. I saw your insta post and just wanted to let you know that I love your positivity and honesty in your channel. What TH-cam has done with us TV viewers is remove the ability to sort by alphabet to our subscribed channels. I've done an extensive search and have yet to find anyone who has a hack to bring it back. *if anyone does please let me know!* All that is to say, it takes a lot more work to search out a single channel instead of just what TH-cam recommends. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep scrolling until I find your videos! ❤
When you even transplant the grass you are pulling, down into the path to the mirror door and maybe paint/stain the tree stake the color of the fence, it will Robby-fied.
Love the tree. Just fyi, the rhizome is actually the long “root” looking part. The new growth points, or shoots, come off the rhizome. I have been fighting Himalayan blackberry for over 20 years so I am unfortunately all too familiar. If you want nightmares, google Himalayan blackberry in the Pacific Northwest. 😅
Hi Robbie- That tree is absolutely stunning! Perfect placement. Quick question: can you link the storage box you use for irrigation supplies? I’ve been search for one with no luck🙁. Big thank you to you and Brent for all that you do to brighten my day!❤️
The blue atlas cedar looks great in that space! I just planted one a few months ago in a whiskey barrel along my fence and love it! I really want to find another one for my front yard. I hope you are fairing well with the atmospheric river rain this week!
Morning Robbie, that cypress is gorgeous. Also, do you usually prune your lemon cypress? I bought a small one and I'm trying to decide where to plant it 🌻🙂
The cedar looks good. Suggestion: paint the tree support stake black to match your fence. That will allow the tree shape to really stand out.
I second that idea. Looks like alot of people had that same thought
3rd it 👍🏽

The Lemon Cyprus is stunning in the background! Weeping Cyprus looks sooo amazing against the black fence 🤩
Oh Robbie - so happy for you and the cedar! So exciting.

I was wrong. The weeping Atlas Cypress is my absolute favorite. It's gorgeous now I'm jealous. Good choice

I guessed right! The squiggly tree. 😂 It's beautiful!
I would think by your “walkway” to the door it would b an opportunity for a nice low ground cover?
I’m so excited for you… you got your dream plant! Thank you for your positivity and excitement for your garden, it is what it is start every morning with, my Robbie and Brent update! ❤

What an amazing tree! That area is going to be spectacular when you put in the edging and walkway!
Great choice on the tree Robbie perfect next to the door.
Maybe the pot could be placed on top of something? You mentioned that you thought the plant itself was bigger. Elevating it a little might help?

It's beautiful. You should paint the steak black 😀
