Hearing you talk about the objectives of Shatter the Sky being super unique is so weird, considering that entire joke didn't get coined until the Legacy of the Void run. I feel like I'm in a time loop.
Seriously this series showed me that I loved starcraft 2 even after all the time I didn't play it. All of the costume captains and silly stuff that came out of this channel brought me so much joy. Normally I am not the guy who writes comments but I just want you to know: Thank you Grant you are still one of my favorite content creator and even if I don't watch everything on the archive channel I'm still glad you here on TH-cam. I hope you enjoy your time with us as much as we enjoy the time with you.

After listening to basically all of the archives content as background noise for a couple months, I now believe that Dustin Browder is the only warp in colossus in Startcraft 2 and that he is protected by a unique series of objectives that have progressively stronger defenses.
Honestly the best youtuber I've had the pleasure of listening to for the past few years! Thanks, Grant, for bringing back such wonderful memories! Here's wishing for many more to come!
I just realised this now of all time, I think one of the reasons I liked it a lot all those years ago in addition to being good videos, is that it explains really easily some of the aspects of the game and the campaign, which makes it extremely useful for newer players or even older ones for the things you can learn. and really, that's the case with every challenge run and one of the reason they are fun, but GGG presents things very well.
I've long been someone who's played through SC2's campaigns on Casual, loving the story and gameplay of the missions for more than a decade now. Thank to you, Grant, I've recently decided to raise the stakes of my near annual playthroughs and recently took on WoL on Hard, continuing on to the other campaigns similarly. It was like falling in love with the game all over again, challenging myself and enjoying the missions and story all over again with higher stakes, and I even got the chance to use some of your elite tech, too, (like the invisible wall of Specters on The Dig.) Since your very first Deathless video, I've enjoyed your content Grant, thank you for bringing the community together as you have, and providing us with fresh content for a game we all love.
I know audio is something that a lot of youtubers struggle with, it would be cool if you could show a sort of tutorial on this videos transformation, all the tips and tricks you found over the years to go from the original audio to this audio. I'm sure it would be helpful to at least several people.
It really is amazing how far you have come. From doing the deathless runs to being probably the best player in the campaigns, your achievements are amazing.
Oh the audio upgrade is so amazing thank you god. I wanted to watch the old videos but compared to your new stuff they weren't palatable. You've come so far.
Really appreciate the remasterd audio. I can still hear the original video in it but the extra and rewritten parts really add to the flavour. Gj grant 🤗
I actually really like how he thought about how people may not like the lower quality of the original video and did literally everyone a favor and threw some love onto the old gold
This is simply incredible. The dedication to go through even one of these challenges is inspiring to say the least, but the whole three campaigns... Amazing.

I don't share his dislike but, from what I remember, it started with her being objectively wrong about being able to handle the Zerg virus and thus causing more and more problems. I'm sure at this point it's exaggerated for memery
Some thoughts on her as a character, both good and bad. 1. She’s redundant as a scientist because of Stetman, whom she pushes into irrelevance because she takes up so much screen time. Which is a major negative because Stetman was a cool character with some good potential in Wings that never is realized because she takes over his role. 2. She functions as the ‘newcomer’ which allows us to see Jim and Crew from the outside. That’s fine but it makes her kind of a ‘I spend all my time being impressed and marveling at how awesome Jim is’ kind of character. Which I find annoying. 3. She’s a major burden, her actions backfiring every time and requiring Jim and the boys to rescue her people over and over again. ‘Are you going sweet on that doctor, Jimmy? Can’t see why else we keep fighting for these damn dirt farmers…” 4. She’s infested. While this is of debatably canonical, I think it’s probable even if you side with her colonists in the end. Tosh implies this early on and hints that the Zerg keep coming after the colonists because of her. This could be a really interesting aspect of her character, but they don’t do anything with it except to have Jim kill her in that one ending. So I count it as a missed opportunity. 5. Her character design is pretty meh, but that’s a personal preference. 6. She’s one of the few characters that feels like she doesn’t interact with anyone apart from Jim. Every other character has relationships with the rest of the crew. We know what Tychus and Tosh think of each other, how Matt feels about both Tosh and Tychus, how Swann feels about them both, etc. I just don’t recall her commenting on anyone else, but I could be wrong here. The only thing I can think of is Tychus says he flirted with her, but not what her reaction to that is other than him saying that she’s got her eye on Jim.
