Thank you so much for doing this playthrough! Put in my order at GMT for the reprint over a year ago :-/ Hopefully this stirs some activity on the P500 list.
@@Heavycardboard Great stream. My vote is for more of both. I think block games work well (larger pieces) and so would games with lower counter densities. Games with large stacks of counters might be harder to follow the action. Some suggestions: Atlantic Chase, Nevsky or any of that series, more Combat Commander, Verdun 1916, but mostly whatever you guys like.
Really enjoyed this playthrough! I have to admit - I think strategic reorganization would cause legendary amounts of AP at my table and I don't see this being a great fit for my table but I'm so glad you played it!
5:01:03 When Kyle attacked the fort he could have pushed one block to the left(from Edwards POV) to put the Fort Out of supply. Local supply wouldn't be enough for the whole of the army there.
Also, I don't think the allies are allowed to use arty on the special turn one in Bel because they can't use LPs arty, or air on spaces containing only Belgian blocks and/or fortresses.

Same. I had to p500 after watching All Quiet on the Western Front.
Thx for sharing and helping me decide I'd like to buy this.
Great stream! Thanks for bringing such a great game to us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks! I'd love to see more of this.
More FoD or war games in general? And glad you enjoyed the show tonight!
@@Heavycardboard I did enjoy this one as don't know much about FoD, but any wargames you guys want to play would be great.

Did you ever play this solo? This is the 1st block war game I have watched other than C&C and loved it
Really enjoyed this would to see more.
3:13:50 Master Dice Roller.
30:11 why did the German arty hit on a 5, shouldn't it be only on 6s because of the fortress?

Another bullseye from THEE gaming channel !!!!
Think you forgot the river effects on the initial attack on Belgium.
Great Stream, I'd love to actually play wargames, but I just can't cope with the frustration of unlikely dice-roles in zero-sum 2 player games.
