I'm with you on that Russ, however.....there are a few reasons as to why the chances of the footage being remastered and released have come and gone. The reasons are quite simple...money. MGM/Turner had the perfect opportunity to release some more of the material in 2014 when Sony released the TTWII Deluxe set but the only collaboration with MGM was the 2 official DVD's already available and even on those the outtakes were still in the raw unmastered state and unfortunately in August 2014 that boat all but sailed away. If you consider that the Sony TTWII Deluxe set cost in excess of £100 or $150 or the fact that the FTD rehearsals set cost £200/$325 (and that's just a book and 4 CDs), then imagine what MGM/Warner would have to charge after the cost of remastering both the video and audio making it suitable for a mainstream release. In order to make the project commercially viable would the cost so high as to be out of reach of the vast majority of fans and it must be remembered that such a release would almost exclusively only appeal to fans of Elvis. If any comparison is needed Sony had to create a separate record label (Follow That Dream) in order to release concerts and studio outtakes to appease fans needs and to try to repress the bootleg release but even a standard FTD costs twice what a mainstream CD does and at the end of the day MGM are like any other business and any release regardless of artist is with the aim of making a profit. I have long suspected the possibility that these outtakes were leaked "deliberately on purpose" with the knowledge that they would find themselves on TH-cam and the subsequent ads could be monetised making profit for MGM with virtually no outlay!!

It is entirely possible that there may have been others James but as we have no evidence, this remains the only documented live rendition of the song by Elvis.
Unfortunately not. The cameras for main production ceased after the 13 Aug Dinner Show. Some secondary filming took place at both shows on 14 Aug but this consisted of rear view and distant shots. No audio was recorded by MGM though as theses camera angles were intended, as many were, to be inserted into performances from the first six shows.

Yes it is
Only live version
TTWII was a rehearsal
I didnt think he performed this live, only in the rehearsal footage of Thats the way It Is. It sounds slower here, is this in the documentary?
There's a footage of a rehearsal available.
Kinda Sad this wasn’t in the 1970 movie.
It was one of the shows record right? 14th Aug.

Por que não tem imagens? Nunca compreendi o motivo. Alguém poderia me informar por gentileza? Grata
Wow, he hit high notes...Later years 76 n 77, he couldnt hit the high key due to lung/drug.
He definitely hit the high notes to the end
