The vertical and horizontal measurements look right. The runout of the spindle includes the chuck, so 0.001 inches is not bad. I wonder what the spindle measures without the chuck.
I don't think I checked it during the assembly. The spindle face where the chuck is mounted was machined on this machine. Sadly I can't anwer your question.
