Not sure you are asking me about the purchase of my Sierra Denali, but I did purchase it a few months ago and I must say that I'm satisfied with it. It has a little more technical systems that I don't really need and somewhat difficult to work with. Overall it is better than the 2017 Ford Lariat I had. I tried to purchase a 2024 Lariat but after waiting months and it not being delivered to the dealer, I cancelled the order and purchased the GMC. Actually the GMC has more standard items than the Ford and within the same price point. I have no regrets moving away from Ford, especially since I was a die hard Ford guy, but the quality and workmanship of the GMC makes up for that. I would recommend the GMC to anyone looking to purchase a good truck that is worth the price.
I like the body style, but I'm really a lot more impressed with the 2024 Ford F150 premium Limited truck being there both priced about the same. Seams like the Ford offers more features.
I have a question for you 🧐 when you walked up into the bed and stood and moved around in the bed of the truck ,, did the truck feel like it it was wobbling side to side making you unsafe ❓❓ I hope you understand what I’m asking because I am stood into the back of my pick up truck and I couldn’t believe how it moves from left to right, very unstable I want to know if this new truck is firm and sturdy when you’re in it ❓❓ thank you
That's what I thought, but now that I have had my 1794 for 1-1/2 years, and have owned a Denali in the past, I can clearly say the Denali is a better truck, especially since my truck is fixing to be under a nation wide recall for a new motor. I like my Tundra, but I am worried about the motor issues, so I think I am trading for a Denali.

I wish the high-end truck models were available in a quad or single cab with a 6.5’ bed. I don’t need a huge back seat. And an option to black out or color match the chrome would be nice too.
It would be nice to have the option of an ext cab pickup with a larger box in the higher end trim levels too. A lot of retired people towing 5th wheels.
@@TicklerDude these denalis are 78 at the low up to about 83 if you get the supercruise option and the painted wheel arches…the Denali ultimate is like 85-90 and up to 93 if you add the sport exhaust , wheel arch painted and a nice tonneau cover, I believe the supercruise is basically included in the ultimate…. Still these trucks are really expensive and you need a minimum of 20k down on a reg Denali and like 30k down if you want to top of the line ultimate… there’s no way I can do it ….they depreciate a lot even in first year, a used 24’ with like 6-8k miles is like 62-65 and the ultimate is believe it or not only like 5-7 k more used… 66-72…. Still too much lol
@@toddprater14 All the more reason to NOT buy one. My 2015 Chevy Silverado cost me $35K, and it still runs great because I do regular maintenance checks, oil changes and tire rotations. Great truck, great price, great performance
@@TicklerDude ohh I’m not, too many horror stories about “new junk” cars and trucks…my 2010 Sierra Denali only has 110k on it runs awesome , my 6.2 does not have afm, and I have every option available in the 07-13 trucks but rear dvd… yes I fell I love with the 14-18 Sierra denalis , but that 8 speed trans shutter issues scared me off, the engines in the k2xx trucks all had afm then and seemed to be doing ok..( the 5.3 in the 07-13’s was a nitemare)… now I hear they fixed the 8 speed issue was crap atf fluid holding moisture, gm figured that out in the last year 18’s… I love me a used 18’ Sierra Denali, ain’t gonna lie…. The 19’ to present has stupid start /stop , lifters that are failing and payments as big as a mortgage ….nope ain’t doing it, and by the looks of all car dealers ,ALOT of people aren’t doing it either…lol keeping my 14 year old truck.
So the denali is supposed to be the premium trim level with all the bells and whistles? Pretty disappointing, to be honest. The ford Tremor is only third out of eight trim levels, and its better equipped than that truck. And for having the 6.2 liter V8, im surprised its doesnt have better numbers. The ecoboost puts out slightly less horsepower but way more torque, and its only a six cylinder. Even the coyote has better pound for pound numbers. Looked like pretty cheap leather, no heat in the rear seats, and the electrical supply looked to be lacking. Chevy needs to step up its game. Gonna stay with ford.
Brother bishop, it's always been an individual preference between GM and Ford. I have no interest in a ford being a GMC Truck owner for 15 years, ,never say never but , I simply don't like how a ford looks. I've driven Denali's for several years now, The new GMC Denali with 6.2 is a bad arse driving vehicle. It's a dream to drive around town, and handles the interstate effortlessly. The only criticism after 2100 miles, is it could have a little better sound system but I like my music loud with nice base, so my expectations are higher than most. New Interior and sport mode with exhaust is a pleasure IMHO. I also bought my Truck at a 11k discount, I got every feature I wanted with a few more than this review showed...but I did not buy the "Ultimate"... GMC will probably offer the large roof and air suspension in the next version.
@NobleRenovation hey Noble. Since you've been driving these for so long. Have you had any transmission problems? I heard these are known for this. Thinking abt buying one of these but this is in the back of my mind
@@myron1045 Good morning, the new 2024 model has the 10 speed transmission. I have had mine only for 5000 miles so I am not the right person to ask about tranmission problems. It's a smoother transmission than the 8 speed that was clunky shifting from 1st to 2nd. The 6 speed was a very good transmission. They are working to improve gas mileage while still providing the power and torque people want... No regrets with my purchase,
Nice overview. Love the option for changing the exhaust sound in the 6.2
ordering one next week

A truck only using premium gasoline lol.
Does it? I think GM 6.2 can use regular and I’m putting into mine.
Premium is recommended in every vehicle.
Walmart's a store.
Tundra much better
A Denali makes a Tundra look like a joke.
