I'm loving all of these SL reviews, but one thing you guys aren't mentioning (esp concerning the lower powered motors like the TQ and Speshy) is the appeal to the "fit guy" e-biker. People, generally, aren't buying SL e-bikes to ride in Turbo all day. I have a full powered Levo for "park laps" with my buddies, but my daily driver is the Trek eXe. I rarely take it out of Eco. I still get a crazy good workout, it lasts 3-4 hours, and I can add an extra 2-3 laps compared to my meat powered bike. I could be wrong, but I feel like it's a huge reason the SL category exists
Thank you for sharing and you are right. We probably don’t focus enough on that as we typically ride in Boost so we can get as many laps and miles in on the bikes as quickly as possible. We will work on focusing and sharing that perspective as well. Appreciate you watching and sharing your insights.
I own one and love it! Corners unbelievable well. I added 160mm cranks, coil front and rear, Magura brakes. Rips. Range is fine unless you ride in Turbo with full powered ebikes. I ride it in trail mostly and easily get 3 hour rides in. I’m tired after that so.
I have this bike, the best bike I've ever ridden on flat slippery sweeping turns. I'd def like more power and battery but I came from a Levo and this bike is a lot more fun to ride, it's basically a dh bike. I'm waiting for some more sub 44lb 170-180mm ebikes to come to market, I think we are all looking for this bike with more battery and power
Best looking sl , down hill weapon.Another great sl round up this year lads keep them coming.Check out Sam's Bikes kenevo sl dream build park emtb if your interested in this bike
Got to admit I still love my 1.1 KSL it’s probably too much for normal trails and slightly harder than others to climb. But worth it for the downs and now only need one bike as it’s more than capable enough for Morzine.
I got the SL cause I love a workout, but im not really that fit lol. So the turbo con those really steep ones helps, but other than that min assist and a good bike for going on descents.
I still see plenty people climbing Dead Cow to Suicide with these bikes, now that's techy chunk climb....I don't have the skills even with an e-bike to climb much of that.
I have the enduro, and its the best "do it all bike" I had. But cmon, spesh, make a new one, this platform is from 2020/2021. The're milking it so hard and they're saying "If it works why make a new?" I think its kind of lack in terms of innovation. We've seen the new stumpy and the new sl ebike, so hopefully a new enduro is due soon... Would probably buy it too.
@@rezenclowd3 I guess there's something to "if it works, why change it". Yes the seatpost is a bit short, i kept my 170mm dropper, I could ride 210mm, so it kind of limiting. I know it excels on the dh, but if they were able to make it "Lighter, better climbing and add more travel", which might be impossible/hard, then why not. And if they decide to spend 7 yrs on each iteration, I just don't see how we can progress as fast as we could. I think innovation/competition in R&D is benefitting us end users atleast, so that primarily why I'm in this camp.
it's an amazing bike ! but with such small battery... it's just for people that rides with mates on analog bikes... (and even then you have to be on eco/trail mode, cuz turbo lasts for ~900m elev.)
I rode one of the firat gen bikes. 30 nm of power was a joke. The other thing i did not like was the seat post. A longer dropper can't drop completely out of the way.
@@bfranco1519 yeah I had to run mine 50 percent but that was the old” motor. It wasn’t that good. Especially because defending was compromised. I’m 6’ but all torso and the seat was constantly in my way DH.
Except its class leading downhill, not everybody wants to blast every climb at mach chicken. I own this bike and i actually get a workout and still can cover miles. If you want to just blast climbs get a full powered bike. This bike is as close to a Mountain bike as it gets. Its literally an enduro that takes the sting out of longer rides.

Exactly how mine is set up. I’ve had it for 2 years and still love it. I don’t care about climbing as fast as possible.

Totally agree!
Thanks for including!! Hardly any reviews benchmarking against others in the market!
Love my Kenevo SL 2 S- Works.
After Kenevo SL Comp and SL 2 Expert.
???
Got my first gen for 8k (20% discount) early 2023 and I LOVE IT ! 35Nm feels enough coming from a muscular bike. Must try if you can ;)

Will do
It's LW grouptest time again. My favorite time of the year 😎♥️.
Can you tell which tire inflator you use that is shown in the outro (11:10)?
Thanks so much! It’s a Viair kit. Love it.

It's an awesome Morzine bike for sure! Little bit of assistance for the occasional transfer or climb up to some of the trails out of the bikeparks.

Sounds like the perfect bike for you!
Holy smokes, over 10k with Maven Bronze brakes. That's nuts.
The new enduro pro is $9.5k...
It's easily a couple thousand more than a talaria sting R mx4 expert.
Currently shopping for that ...
Kinda cement my decision 😂
when new Levo?!
GD this stopword “LIKE” is making these reviews downright unlistenable! It's spreading like wildfire across other channels to.
it's like a disease
Love that you guys both used the word "like" in your analogies! That's like, really punny!
@@TheLoamWolf At least like is a word. It's the hundred "UMMMMs" and "Uhhhs" dropped in nearly every sentence that make it unlistenable.
Gotta make it into a game. Take a drink of beer every time you hear the word like. Actually bad idea, I’m already drunk and only half way through vid.
😂 well, hopefully you have enough money for a big alcohol budget. You’re gonna need it.
What height are the riders? Thanks!
Between 5'9 and 6'2"!
Estaria bien la review de la bh ilynx+ sl con shimano ep801 y batería de 630

Why make a new one yet? IMO it doesn't need a change outside of seat post insertion and possible reach adjust.

$😂10k yeww🔥
One thing to consider: talking about the size/fit of the bike is pretty much useless without reference to rider height.
50 Nm of torque and 320 watts peak power. OOOOOOOOOOW, that's scary fast power.NOT
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao 10k? Specialized can kiss my taint 😂
The only reason i dont like that bike, is because it only came as SL. Enduro should be focused as full power ebike.
No. SL enduro is epic
@@mtb_3930 range and power left the chat.
Ten thousand dollars? I think I’ll buy another dirt bike.

Too high of a seat tube! Not mullet compatible. Bad range…
Range is fine unless you ride it in Turbo all the time. I go for 3+ hour rides on mine.
Pretty sure it is mullet compatible
It's not officially mullet compatible but you can do it. Mine is mullet
@@kingflynxi9420it’s not. I ran my 1.0 mullet but the BB was way too low.

Can somebody try to mount a dji avinox to this bike please, just make a larger cut in top of the frame for screen as wheel for the charger port.
Now that is a great idea.
@@TheLoamWolfyeap, that bike is a loner. Cant keep up with ebikes for that reason lack of power & range.
