Great video - we are looking at doing an Alaska cruise next year on the Queen Elizabeth and video this was very useful. Which side of the ship is best in your opinion for sight seeing - we are still considering cabins, decks etc

The way our cruise went we did the inside passage first but were late out of port so most of that was at night. Aside from that we did it starting and ending in Vancouver so a lot of the areas we went past on the way out and back. As far as the scenic cruising like Glacier Bay & Hubbard the crew did a really good job of spinning the ship around 360 degrees in all the main scenic areas so it worked out really well for all sides of the ship. We did an ocean view cabin but spent most of the time outside at the back of the ship during all the scenic cruising. On hubbard glacier and glacier bay they opened the front area of the ship, but it was so packed up there you woundt see much if you weren't at the rail and if you were there would be people pretty much ontop of you. The back has a lot of space and was pretty open where you could freely walk from side to side to see the views and with them spinning the ship around like they did you wouldn't miss anything
