As for myself, I don't want to do anything. I just want to sit and watch the seas. Have some appropriate meals. A cocktail or two. Walk around the ports. Stay up late on my balcony and sleep in.

Too much New York City in me for too long, I guess.
I've seen enough champagne and fireworks.
Please, no entertainment, no Cha cha, no circus!
No drinks with little umbrellas.
However I love the itinerary on this cruise.
For that, I would consider this trip.
Hi Stuart - one of the things I enjoy most about cruising is the ships are so big you can find what you like. If you just want to find a quiet spot and escape all the organised entertainment - you can. It was a great itinerary - I'd recommend it. Thanks for watching!

Great Queen Elizabeth trip review. It's how I found your channel. We're thinking of going for a much shorter cruise than your 2 weeks, but feel much more comfortable about booking into the Britannia category after seeing your video. We were thinking of splurging for Queens Grill but the money saved could be spent on some nice hotels on land, and your Britannia cabin and restaurant experience looked great.

I wish I had the money to go on a cruise like this I worked for 20 years for the NHS and never been able to afford any holiday I'm off sick with stress due to work pressures at the moment just to sit and watch the sea go by would be like heaven 🙏
Hi Michelle, I'm sorry to hear you're off work with stress, after giving so many years service to the NHS. There are lots of cruises at different price points. You can book a mini cruise, for just 2 or 3 nights, which is obviously much more affordable and gives you a chance to see if you like it. Thank you for creating for this video and also the one about your trip on Queen Mary 2. Was there not a harpist on your voyage? We were recently on the Queen Elizabeth (Alaska cruise from Vancouver) and were disappointed there was no harpist as there has been on our previous voyages.. The tea-time entertainment was not as good as it usually is on Cunard. The string trio never played once at tea. Other than that it was a great cruise. Seeing your video reminded me of how much we enjoyed it.
Hi David, I’m trying to recall - I don’t think there was a harpist on our last cruise. Like you I really enjoy the harpist. There was a string trio and they played many times around the ship, including at afternoon tea which was lovely. Hopefully Cunard will bring back a harpist on all trips. We are looking for a balcony....is it true that there is rust on the balconies and chairs are in bad shape?is it worthy paying more for balcony ? Otherwise a seaview would be ok! Hi, I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video. Thank you for commenting. When I’ve had a balcony I’ve never noticed any problem with rust or poor condition of the chairs. I only have positive memories. A sea view is also a great option if you want to save some money. I’m sure whatever you choose will be wonderful. Have a fantastic trip! 😎

Hi Kristie, there are free soft drinks at the buffet restaurant during meal times (from a machine - juices, lemonade, water, coffee) Otherwise there is a charge for all other soft drinks I’m afraid.
Well it just goes to show that everyone is different. We were on that cruise too. It was our 34th cruise and our first (and last) on Cunard.
I would liken the experience to a restaurant that thinks its so good it is doing you a favour in serving you.
Entertainment and ship decor very good. I appreciate we shouldnt compare lines but the restaurant food was mediocre. (Hot buffet food warm not hot).
Service throughout strained with very little attention to detail.
Drinks, ridiculously expensive, but we expected that.
Plastic shower curtains (Yuck) and a tiny shower (and we're not exactly large). Just don't drop the soap lol.
On Celebrity next month. Can't wait to get back on a line that can't do enough for you.
We don't ask for much and have only ever had to complain once on a cruise.
Our in stateroom breakfast order was correct only once in thirteen mornings. Gave up on the coffee and tea half way through as it was not even lukewarm.
We gave the whole experience 5 out of 10, which is our lowest score ever.
Still haven't had any survey sent from Cunard.
We put its rating below our previous cruises on N.C.L, P and O, Marella, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Yacht Club on MSC.
Just goes to show how different people see things differently.
You didn't do us or yourselves a favour Cunard. However, I don't expect you really care.
Hi Jim, I'm sorry to hear you had a really disappointing time. I can only share my experience, which was excellent, and we've been on many cruises. We also met lots of new friends on that cruise who were also having a wonderful time.

he ship is getting old and boring. Just came back from 16 days Cunard. It degraded a lot. food quality and quantity BAD. especially at the Lido. Super short handed. It is at the Carnival cruise style. No dance host, no queens room Hostess, no professional dancer exhibition, etc. will not recommend for this price ( we are diamond on Cunard, not a newbie)

Hi Tim! Excellent video. We’ve sailed on QE SFO-SYD in 2017, and excited to be back this September FLL-BCN. Our family has sailed on Cunard since the 1960s, and we look forward to being onboard once again. Cheers!
