Criminally underused and underrated actor. His portrayal of Rorschach was spot on to the graphic novel. Despite Nightmare on Elm Street being a very dry remake, I really liked his Freddy. He didn’t try to copy Robert Englund. He was very creepy.
Wow...I never realized the actor that played the "especially dirty hippie trying to make an impossible shot" in Semi Pro was the same actor who played Rorsach...both very good performances.
He is really a tremendous actor. You could see it even when he was a child. When he played Kelly leak in the bad news Bears it was unlike any other child performance I had ever seen before.
I'm so happy that his acting career revived. Such a born gifted actor, it was so unfair all those years away from the screens... when you talked people about him and nobody knew who he was. It was such a waste , what were people in the industry thinking of? I may have always been nuts about him but not without good reason. I really believe he should have won the Oscar for "Little Children". I just wish he didn't get caught up in dark and devious roles because I think he's a very sexy man with a beautiful face and has so much to offer if he also played a different type of characters. Anyway, anything he'll do in the future, he'll do it right. Good luck Jackie.💓

Can someone make a movie with Michael Shannon, Lily Taylor, Samira Wiley, Danny Devito and Jackey Earl Haley in the leads? I just wanna see something where the leads look like everyday types rather than crummy, creepy 'good looking' hollywood clones. And they can ALL act!
The earliest movie I saw him in wad damnation alley who I thought was Scott pressman of star trek 2 or Scott eismensin of tvs 1st inner dimensional travelers show fantastic journey of the 70s. They did look alike then. But I'll always remember him as Walter kovacs/rauscac.
