I know what you mean about printing and cutting classic size Happy Planner paper. I usually wind up printing letter size instead. I use a personal rings Filofax for my courses/strengths notes. Sterling Ink planner for bulk of journaling and Hobonichi weeks for on the go planning (i.e. appointments and to do lists.)

Yeah, I have been printing out letter size pages then just using the papercutter. I use 32 lb bond, because I hate ink bleed.

I've got a number of videos about intuitive writing, but that might be a good idea. I do edit a lot more left brained than right, but I can give my tips on it.
