Betty White was the epitome of a role model. Actress, philanthropist, ally, activist...she literally did it all, and maintained her beautiful personality throughout. Our world truly lost a treasure when she passed on.
What an awesome lady. She advocated for animals her whole career, and lived a great life. I bet she died with no regrets. May we all be so fortunate.🙏🏼
She had one regret & it was wasting a whole year turning down her third husband's (Allen Ludden, the love of her life) proposals for marriage a whole year.
Imagine being as beautiful as young Betty White but still being told you don't have the looks they want for television roles!! 🤯 Their loss, in the long run, Betty certainly proved her worth, how very talented she was, as well as funny, yet also humble, caring & open hearted in her approach to racism, LGBT rights & her live of animals. What an amazing woman; I had no idea what an amazing trail blazer she was ❤
I'm so pleased you did this story. Betty paved the way for so many woman. I never thought about her having lived through WW11. What a life she had. She will be greatly missed by so many. One of a kind.
Her pure gentle soul will forever inspire women everywhere. Love you Betty. You were a gem and your spark will never go away as you make us laugh to tears long after you reunited with Alan. May you rest in peace and guide us to be kind, gentle, and funny to the people that surround us
I remember Betty White fondly from The Golden Girls and always thought she seemed like such a kind and genuine lady. It is lovely to hear about her backstory and all of the great things she achieved in her life! What a wonderful woman she was and her story has been beautifully told by yourself. Thank you for such an informative video of this amazing lady.
Thank you for this! Betty was an amazing woman and leaves an incredible legacy. I hope she and Allen are back together amongst the Heavens and the Universe. 🙏💚 Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this and your sister channel.
I remember being disappointed that Betty White didn't live to her 100th birthday. It just seemed appropriate for a woman whose wit and goodness seemed like a superpower. Ah well. We were lucky to get the time we got with her. Dolly Parton seems like the only other celebrity that could even touch Betty's shadow.
On a celebrity roast of William Shatner she stated " people say that bill is nuts but George is actually tasted them. George was George Takei Shatner's co-star on Star Trek takei had outed himself some weeks before they taped this special
I will always remember that Super Bowl commercial where she's tackled by the players. You couldn't help but laugh. A great model for young women now. Thank you for covering her life.
What a well-lived life! She had such a great spirit about her and it jumped off the screen! I truly enjoyed watching her perform, no matter what the role was! ❤
My favorite movie role with Betty White was definitely in lake placid 2... I laughed so hard when I saw her throwing chickens at these huge gators.... If it had been anybody else playing that part I would not have found it funny but being that it was Betty White the magnificent it was hilarious
well that's made me proper cry, that has. What woman. I adored the Golden Girls, but didn't know what a trailblazer she was, how she championed Black and LGBTQ rights. An extremely intelligent, gifted woman. *I'm off to find The Golden Girls.... surely it's up somewhere for me to watch? In fact, I'll get my teenage daughter to watch it with me! Thank You for a fantastic video!
I got a little choked up by her last words. I don't care what anyone says. Betty was pure genius as Sue Ann Nivens, who would utter the most insulting things between pearly white clenched teeth. I was a little kid when she played her and understood her character so well. Between her and the idiot anchor "Ted," I was laughing at adult humor at the tender age of 5."
I was only today thinking about her. I've been hearing awful things about my childhood comedic hero Jerry Lewis but I never heard about Betty until Golden Girls. I thought: if only I'd seen Date with the Angels sooner, I only saw it recently in reruns.
Betty White was okay, but there were quite a few others who many found even funnier: Ann Sothern, Lucille Ball, Gertrude Berg, Joan Davis, Gale Storm, Spring Byington, Eve Arden, Verna Felton, Ann B. Davis, Marion Lorne, Edie Adams, Jayne Meadowes -- etc. As for as production powerhouses, Lucy fired up Desi -- she was the real power behind Desi's throne, which was to be expected since he had been a poor immigrant who more or less stumbled into movies, from his career as a nightclub singer and musician. Lucy was a dynamo in real life, ironic since her Lucy Ricardo character was always trying, without luck, to break into show business, which did sort of support the current stereotype of women at that time -- as for Betty White, I lived through that entire era and I never heard of Betty White until she played Sue Ann Nivens on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW in the 70s and then, of course, THE GOLDEN GIRLS. If her show was ever shown on any Phoenix stations, I certainly never saw even one episode. Of course for the 50s we in Phoenix only had 3 channels until the end of the decade -- when another station started up......lucky us.......
@@lindaadams3622never heard of her? She’s not my favorite actress, and I don’t know about playing Betty White, but she’s been in a TON of movies (almost 75 at this point), most notably ones directed by Tim Burton, who was either married to her or had a very long relationship with her. She was his muse for a very long time, and he put her in almost every film he made. Ever heard of Harry Potter? Yeah she was in that series. She’s done a lot of period films, and often plays strange side characters, rather than the lead role. She’s a decent actress, altho again not a favorite of mine. Not sure she can pull off Betty White’s charm and quick wit tho.
Betty White was the epitome of a role model. Actress, philanthropist, ally, activist...she literally did it all, and maintained her beautiful personality throughout. Our world truly lost a treasure when she passed on.
I love her reply "Live with it" 😆 She stood up for others as well as herself!
What an awesome lady. She advocated for animals her whole career, and lived a great life. I bet she died with no regrets. May we all be so fortunate.🙏🏼

Amen!
Betty White will never be forgotten. She was such an awesome woman.
I tingled when you said her last word was "Alan"..................true love never dies.🥀
Allen
Barbara Walters asked the stupid question "How do you get over it?" He died but love for a person doesn't die when that person dies...duh
God bless Betty. She was the epitome of grace and dignity coupled with a wicked sense of humor.
Any young people reading this, do yourself a favor and watch The Golden Girls. It’s a master class in comedy. I promise you’ll laugh your head off.
What a beautiful woman, inside and out.
All of a sudden I miss my grandmother much more than I normally do. She lived till age 103 ❤️
They don't come any better than Betty White! She was the greatest! 💛

She lived a good life. Good job in telling the story.

She was an amazing lady! Thank you for this great video! Your voice is so relaxing ❤️
Thank you so much!
The fact she still appeared on TV after reaching her 90s is outstanding. She started with a passion and never lost it.
Well, I never thought that you can do anything else but crime stories. Excellent job on your biography of Betty White.
She was such a gracious lady. I loved watching The golden girls, brings back so many memories
😘😘😘 Betty White. Great job. Now we need Mary Taylor Moore.
beautifully done, Thank you
Love Betty white she was so amazing
What a lovely beautiful woman🙂🇮🇪
Such a blessing. She was an amazing soul. I know she'll be in Heaven when we get there. Alan will just have to share her.
She was a awesome woman. Sad she didn't make it to her 100th birthday.
Superb presentation. Thank you.
I will miss her like I miss Robin Williams and Johnny Carson, among others.
I will always remember that Super Bowl commercial where she's tackled by the players. You couldn't help but laugh. A great model for young women now. Thank you for covering her life.
I loved Betty, and will not miss her so much because of all the re-runs of her shows..... Betty you will live forever in film and our hearts.
Such a sweet and thoughtful homage to a remarkable woman. Thank you
Even though this came out two years ago, I have to thank you for this video. It just came up on my TH-cam today. 😁🐕
Thank you for watching! Good timing too as we're finally creating more content for the channel 😁
Thank you for this episode. I miss her and this helped remember things I was too young to hear about.
How did i not know of this channel?
Nice Bio. My mother loved her!!! And so did the rest of us
Betty is the only celebrity for which I actually cried upon hearing of her passing.... ❤
What a well-lived life! She had such a great spirit about her and it jumped off the screen! I truly enjoyed watching her perform, no matter what the role was! ❤
Her talent will never be obscure! What a grand woman! ❤
You forgot about the great movie Lake Placid one of my favorite ❤ movies check it out. It also has a great cast too.
Definitely a 'Golden Girl'. A joy to watch, in a class of her own. Long may she be appreciated and remembered.

We are missing some true love and a wonderful heart when we lost Betty.
I absolutely loved Betty White and the Golden girls! Although I will say my favorite character was Sophia
She has repeatedly corrected that she was 1 1/2 when she & her parents moved to California. She became friends w/ Lucy thru their mother's friendship.
A great tribute to an amazing lady. Thanks Paul 👌
Wow this was absolutely amazing 🤩 thank you for so much. I learned so many new things about Betty’s life ❤️🥰❤️
Love this documentary!

Great video 💯
Not photogenic?
I’ve always thought her so pretty and my first time seeing her on tv was during her Golden Girls years!
Loved her!
Well done, thank you.
The whole world loved Betty White.
What a great deep dive into a ground breaking woman! So many facts I’ve never heard before ❤

Betty White will always be an icon
To follow Betty White is to follow television history.
Thank you.
Well I never knew all these things about Betty! Thx!
She blazed the future for women
I couldn’t click on this fast enough!
I was only today thinking about her. I've been hearing awful things about my childhood comedic hero Jerry Lewis but I never heard about Betty until Golden Girls. I thought: if only I'd seen Date with the Angels sooner, I only saw it recently in reruns.
Awesome

Don't forget Ida Lupino!
She is my hero.
Wonderful actress
❤️❤️❤️

Betty White "not photogenic"?!?!? Then what does that make me? 👹 Haha!
She would have been a better co star for Lucy than Vivian Vance. Lucy, Betty and Gale Gordon would have been quite the trio.
Sorry, I mis-spoke. I didn't mean Vance I meant Mary- Jane Croft.
She lived in New York for the first 4 years of her marriage to Allen Ludden.
If anyone were to play her in a bio of her life it should be Helena Bonham Carter.
Never heard of Helena Bonham Carter! Who is she and what is her claim to fame?
