Hi Ally, couldn’t believe seeing you in my Bonnie Border Hills , we have just been up there today ,did it the opposite way,and missed White Coomb this time, not as much blue sky for us but no rain and very windy. Quite boggy in bits. Thank you for sharing your day in the Borders.😊🥾
Hi Janice i really enjoyed this one was on my to do list for a long time and with the weather being rotten up north it gave me the opportunity to head down the way. its a beautiful place and lots of colours with the heathers in full bloom the waterfall and the loch are stunning even the boggy paths couldn't put this place down and there's loads of hill could be a good place for some winter walks as not to far to travel. Atb ally👍
Awesome scenery, Ally. Excellent footage, especially with the drone across the loch! Looks like you had a cracking day out. Thanks for uploading. 🏴 🏔👍

Nice walk that Ally - been in Moffat a few times but never hiked about...looks great up there nice wee circuit with a cracking loch and waterfall. Aye that's what this year has become, need to check the forecast and maps and head where you have a chance of avoiding the worst weather and just adjust your plans as you go. 👍👍

Atb Ally 👍👌
Thanks Andrew so glad i went down as the Torridon plans were up in the air but this made up for it . stunning place and the walk 4 to 5 hours so good for a shorter day out but some great hills down there definitely be back down that way. Atb Ally 👍

It's a stunning area, often dismissed by the "Munro" types, but it offers great walking without the Munro hoards. I have spent a large part of my life walking the Border hills and completed all the Donalds.
Hi Dave I really enjoyed this walk and the waterfall was brilliant it opened my eyes to what the southern area of Scotland has to offer and would be good for some shorter winter days out aswell will definitely be doing more walks on these hills. ATB ALLY 👍
Quality video again, Ally 👌 that pace is stunning 🤩⛰️ I've been to the loch a couple of times but never did the hills. It looks like a great walk, and the views back down to loch skeen is class 💯👏 you got some great drone shots too, nice one, mate 🤜🤛✌️😎

@@Allysmountainwalks6462 I think we’re all guilty of focusing on the big boys a lot more and neglecting some of these style walks. It makes for a cracking camping trip up there too. ATVB Robert
Great video, Ally and some very nice drone footage. I noticed you followed the Walkhighlands route but the opposite way round. Did I miss you crossing the burn above the waterfall or did you not film it? I was up there back in April when I arrived in Scotland for my spring trip. Skye and I walked up to and along the loch, a very muddy walk back then. I was sort of planning to include the Corbett but didn't find it safe to cross the burn as it was quite fast running. Also the fact is that my dog, even being a retriever, is scared of water 😳😉ATB Karl from Denmark
Hi Karl thanks again for following along stunning place, i crossed the river a wee bit further up from the waterfall not the easiest of crossing but got across , the paths weren't the greatest really boggy lower down but better up top . on the way down it was getting really busy so was glad i set of early beat the crowds. Atb Ally 👍
@@Allysmountainwalks6462 Aye it was quite busy back in April as well. And being my first hillwalk of the year, I must admit I struggled a bit. Meeting a lot of folks coming down, who all had to stop a pet my dog, gave me a moment to catch my breath 😉Thanks for the advice on crossing the water, I guess it'll all depend on the conditions of the day. But I think your aprroach of getting the crossing done at the start was the better one. You wouldn't want to walk all the way round and then realise there's no safe crossing. ATB Karl.😃
