Id wager who ever sees the enemy first wins. The faclon's superior level flight and diving flight speed combined with extreme agility give it a bigger advantage with surprise attacks. The hawks are usually bigger and stronger giving it a "close in " advantage. Biologists and avian enthusiasts tell stories of all kinds of raptors and falcons slaying each other.

Super extraordinary flying raptors, I’ve seen them perched on trees around where I live…but never have seen them together on the same day or in the same area.
There's no way falcon would lose to hawk in one on one combat. These tests are based on things which falcons find useless , rather they should judge based on their combat styles.

There’s no way a hawk looses to a little falcon. I’ve seen too many videos of hawks flipping upside down mid air to stop a potential falcon attack. You forget hawks have great vision too plus they’re twice as big. In the animal kingdom size definitely matters. The hawk will munch on a falcon for breakfast if it comes within reach. It’s not even close 🙄🤣🦅

I have a hawks nest in my backyard. Last litter had 2. I was hoping the stronger of the 2 would push the weaker one off its nest so I can rescue it.

A falcon can only achieve it's top speed after a dive which obviously takes some time and stealth to set up. The hawk is the more-rounded bird over-all I think. It's larger size and larger talons give it more power and their flying ability is still no joke even though they can't reach the same top speed as a falcon. Falcons are more suiting for preying upon other birds I think while the hawk can grab a wider variety like rodents, small mammals, and other birds. I witnessed a red-tail grab a squirell that was almost the same size as it right off the trunk of a tree and proceed to kill it. No disrespect to the falcon though, I can't think of many methods of attack that are cooler than dive-bombing your prey at 200mph and punching it in the face with a closed talon.

Saying it now I have my money on the falcon especially in the air (they’re birds so I expect that to happen a lot) the only exception is if the hawk gets the jump on the falcon while it’s on the ground or in a tree but it would be the same if the falcon gets the jump and the falcon could easily take a eagle by just knocking it out of the sky

False a hawk is one thing. An eagle, no, it is too agile despite it's size and would snatch it midair. Eagles are just too powerful.

Eagles family of birds are not smart animals. Their behaviour is weird. Today I was close to tear up a bigger hawk bare hand on my balcony that came for the pigeons I was feeding. It escaped but lost lots of feather. They are not fast at all. All they have is sharp and strong claw and beak as they are genetically soulless predators.
